I've lived here the last 3 years. When Pete and Wade were here, I'd easily rate it 5 stars--they truly cared about their residents and the building was maintained extremely well. Ever since new management took over, the experience quickly changed. When dealing with issues, instead of trying to work with us (parents included) situations were handled by property management by childishly hanging up the phone on multiple occasions. These issues often consisted of their own mistakes (randomly giving up my reserved parking spot, charging us the wrong rent price, etc) When the garage door broke, they posted multiple times it would be fixed in the next few weeks; however, it took 2 months to get this fixed. During that time, my brothers car was broken into and nothing was done to resolve it. Also, chemicals were leaking onto his car, which ruined the paint for months and nothing was fixed. They simply do not care about you and will try nickel and dime you any chance they get. It is astonishing how someone this ignorant, incompetent, and rude came into management after Pete left. She just wants to argue with you instead of trying to solve the problem. Stay away at all costs and save yourself some money and sanity.

I have lived in ULofts for four years in one of the gorgeous corner units that overlooks University and Evans.
To say that ULofts was perfect would be an understatement. While attending the University of Denver and shortly after as I begun my career I was able to truly make that place more than just an apartment building, I made it my home. Countless memories and relationships were created that I will keep with me for the rest of my life.
The units themselves are gorgeous, especially if you keep them clean. One of ULofts strongest aspects is its concrete structure which prevents noise from traveling. Not once did I ever hear my neighbors above, below, or to the side of me or vise versa. Fantastic for a college campus as we often threw parties back in the day and they didn't disturb other residents. Rooms are decently sized as are bathrooms and kitchens. The AC is quite loud, which is a complaint for most, but I actually loved it as it would put me right to sleep at night. Parking garage is spacious and rarely has issues.
But the shining jewel of ULofts isnt the location, or the rooms, or the all inclusive utilities. It's the management. Although Wade, the maintenance manager, is leaving soon, he was what kept that place together. He was always on call, knew the ins and outs of the building, and was timely with fixing any issues we ran across, which were few. Peter, the property manager, was a fantastic landlord and not only one that you could trust, but one that you enjoyed going out of your way to see. I befriended both of them early on and we remain good friends even after I have moved. I'm sure I will never find another landlord and maintenance manager as good at their jobs and just downright enjoyable as these two.
Truly, it breaks my heart to have to move out, but it's time for me to start a new chapter in my life. That being said, if you are a DU student looking for a place to live or a parent searching for a place for your child, look no further than University Lofts. It's a place where you don't have an apartment, you have a home.

I don't even know where to start. Living in University Lofts was such an amazing experience. After living on the University of Denver (DU) campus for three years, my roommates and I decided it was time for a change and we made are way over to University Lofts. After living their for one year, I wished I had lived their for all my four years while attending DU. What made it such a great experience and why you should live their?
1. The staff is incredible. Both Pete and Wade are two great individuals who truly care about their job and their residents. If I had ever had an issue, they would be on top of it immediately and get it all squared away that same day. Also, they are very friendly and welcoming to all of their residents. There were multiple times where I went to their office to make a coffee and have chat with them.
2. The building is in mint condition. You know that there are some apartment buildings that when you walk into, you can sense the age and feel the dirt. Not this one! The building is clean inside and outside and I see the staff everyday continuously maintaining, cleaning, and keeping the the building in mint condition.
3. The apartment and rooms are spacious and comfortable. Initially, I was only supposed to room with three other people (total of four) this past year. Because the apartment and rooms were so spacious, we asked the staff if we could add an extra person to our room. After our request was accepted, the five of us were living with one another and we still felt like we could have fit another person in the apartment if we wanted to.
4. Location, location, location. The location of the building is absolutely amazing, especially if you are a DU student. The building is seconds away to the DU campus, restaurants, coffee shops, Chase Bank, barbershops, dry cleaners, bars and more. It is also about a 10min-15min walk away from the University of Denver light rail station.
5. Safety and security. The safety and security is great. I never felt unsafe or uncomfortable when living in University Lofts. In order to get into the building, you need a key card to swipe yourself in. After getting into the building, you need to swipe the key card once more in order to operate the elevator or open the doors that lead to the residential area from the stairwell.
6. Noise level is almost obsolete. Although the building is located on the corner of two roads, the walls are solid and cancels out noise. From the cars on the road, to the neighbors who may be having a party, I never had a problem sleeping or studying due to noise.
7. Gas, water, electricity, trash, internet, cable, furniture, maintenance, air conditioning/heater, and all other forms of utilities are included. I could not find this package with everything else I have mentioned above anywhere else!
Overall, University Lofts is an amazing place to live. Like all of my roommates believe, you get your bang for your buck and way more! If I had the opportunity to live their again next year, I would in a heart beat! I hope that you get a chance to live and experience University Lofts just like I did!

Hands down the best apartment complex I've ever lived in, mainly due to the property manager, Pete, and the maintenance manager, Wade. I lived here for the past 3 years before moving out of state for a job, and Pete and Wade not only have made my stay stress free, but also have become personal friends of mine. Any issue I had was answered the same day, and both of them were around constantly to chat or listen. I am now living at my new residence and am wishing I could have brought Pete and Wade along; you'll be strained to find a better team to take care of where you live.
The apartment complex alone is a good place to live. For business students, it's prime location being right across the street from DCB, and you're on University where there are good places to eat/drink.
The apartments are like bunkers (in a good way) in that I could barely ever hear anything on the other side of a wall or above my ceiling. The majority of the noise comes from the hallway (through the door, it echoes) and the windows, but it's not bad at all. The worst part about noise really is only if you have windows facing the back, as the AC units are loud when the windows are open. The AC inside also is quite loud, but bearable.
Appliances and the like (provided furniture, countertops, showers, toilets, etc.) are of good quality and I've never had any issues. The heated parking garage is also something to be coveted.
Overall, I loved living at this place. Pete and Wade made it feel like my home, and I enjoyed the location and rooms. Highly recommended!

This is the absolutely best place to live around DU's area. The apartments are spacious, they're furnished, and the area is fantastic. However, the space at U-Lofts is only second to its best quality; the management team. Pete, the building manager, is entirely the reason I chose U-Lofts over Vista and Asbury Green. He is quick, he is knowledgeable, and he is friendly! Then Wade, who fixes nearly everything, is incredibly quick, fast, and friendly. I needed help with cable, Wade fixed it literally 25 minutes after I mentioned it. SAME EXACT PROBLEM happened with a friend at Vista, it took her 2 weeks and 3 hours of tech support to resolve her issue. I love it here. You'll come looking at it for the amazing space you'll be living in, but you'll stay for the people maintaining the place.
