If youre thinking of living here, DONT! It was much better when greystar owned the property but cushman wake has absolutely made this apartments hell. The leasing office staff is incredibly rude, donovan hung up in my face several times for asking for a manager. Maintenance was awful, went without ac my whole last week in the apartment during 80-90 degree heat. They also tried to overcharge my last months rent, i had to go down to the office to handle it. On top of that, they played around about sending my deposit back for 4 MONTHS. There was never an actual reason, they said they just couldnt get ahold of their accountant... for 4 months. They had even started ignoring my calls, having the office staff hang up when i asked for a manager, and ignoring my emails. Yet suddenly, the check was sent once i threatened legal action. Because they knew, legally, im entitled to 3x the deposit after 30 days and i have abundant proof this was done in bad faith. These people are incredibly shady, dont let the pretty amenities fool you.

Tenant here and this will be long, but worth the read. I put in a maintenance request on 8/4/2025, it is now 11/4/2025 and I have yet to receive communication of when it will be resolved.
3 months ago I woke up in the middle of the night during a storm because the wall in my room got damaged and water leaked in causing it to fall on my face. I’ve had to move things around in my room and maintenance told my roommate that the problem was fixed. Maintenance never came again, I’m a busy woman— so I left things be assuming everything was fixed without visually checking myself (my mistake and the damaged wall is hidden under/behind my blinds).
Amber is the manager and I have spoken to her once. She stated that she’d get back to me on 2 separate occasions and I have yet to hear from her because I only get relayed messages from other employees. When it stormed the weekend of 10/25/2025, a lot of water fell on my couch in my room, also got on the walls and into the carpet. I have two couches, room and living room. I also was not home when it stormed and only got the aftermath.
Amber told Shalycee (who has been amazing through this process), that she “saw no damage to my couch”. Mind you that it wasn’t burned, nothing heavy fell and broke it— it has water damage and the back of my couch is wood. It’s important to point out, I have cameras and Amber never step foot into my home so I’m not sure how she could say that.
I’ve had a bad time at the apartment due to many other things and I’ve held back from a review. The lack of effort, communication and accountability from maintenance and Amber are beyond me. I need a resolution to my wall and my couch now and soon, or I will post a review of what it’s like living here and pictures to show for it. I pay my rent, I live quietly and I have tried to be patient for a whole 3 months.

I have only been here a month, but I have signed more leases than I’d like to count or admit 😂 so while I don’t have long term experience here, and am in real estate and property management myself, I would like to think that I have a pretty good indicator of what is good, and what is not so great.
Let’s start off, most of the negative reviews I have read talk about other residents, domestic violence, rent prices, or a dog peeing in the hallway. All I have to say to that is…. Welcome to living in any apartment in the world. And fortunately, I have not experienced any of that so far, and the rent prices when compared to other luxury properties in the area seem very fair to me! It’s not “cheap” and it doesn’t look or feel like it is either, so.
What I will say is…. The grounds are kept immaculate and the amenities are really, very impressive. The sky lounge is luxury, awesome view, pool table, ample places to sit. The pool area has four different waterfalls, a multi level pool, and a really nice covered seating area with a tv, and there are AMPLE lounge chairs and seating. The club house, GORGEOUS. Like, you actually want to hang out in it and show your friends, and again, there’s another pool table. The common areas like the mail room and the Uber waiting room are so crisp, clean, and luxurious. The apartments are finished SO nicely. Very up to date, and unlike a lot of other properties, it doesn’t feel like they cheaped out. Every fixture, countertop, the flooring. It’s all very nice. My particular apartment is the largest plan available, a corner unit, with a downtown view for awesome natural lighting, a 16 x 5 ft long balcony. I get a lot of compliments. Obviously they don’t all have that, but it’s very worth the extra splurge in my opinion, if there is one available.
I placed a maintenance request for the washing machine when I firstr moved in, and he was there within a couple hours, and it was replaced before the end of the day. Nice. Oh, and when I was moving in, I hid my boxes in the panel room closet off the hallway and totally forgot about them (totally accident, I’m sorry) and the maintenance man knocked on my door and knew it was me. I felt bad, but I loved it because it shows they pay attention, and the property reflects that. If I am sharing a building with a bunch of people, I want people to respect the building and treat it with care. My last apartment went to absolute gargbage as far as upkeep and neglect, so this is a huge win for me. The hallways on the building are clearly touched up with matching paint on a regular basis, and you would think this would be a given for “luxury” apartment buildings, but it’s not.
Now for the leasing office. I mainly had the pleasure of working with Shai, and she is so absolutely friendly, welcoming, honest, and efficient. If you send an email, she is so quick to respond, typically within minutes. I would say she is probably the best leasing agent I have had the pleasure of working with.
The location is really quiet as far as traffic in an urban area, yet you can access downtown in a 2-3 minute bike ride. Awesome. I have not noticed a single sketchy pedestrian walking by as I have a view of everyone on this side, and you can tell it’s safe because people on the first floor leave nice patio furniture and potted plants on their street accessible balconies, and well, it hasn’t disappeared! Lol! And one side of the apartment sits on a dead end street (dead ends into the train track) which means no cross traffic, which makes it great for taking dogs out safely. Oh and the dog park is always picked up and very nice!
I hope all this positive momentum keeps going, but I would recommend 10/10. They have wonderful specials right now too which certainly help! Do it! Everyone is super sweet and helpful in the office, but our loyalty is with Shai!!!!
