I have been beee for 3 years and the security and access to our units are a joke. The garage doors have been broken for months, on the 2nd floor garage access is completely ripped out of the wall making it almost impossible to access my unit. The rents are extremely expensive for all of the troubles the residents have to deal with. The 2nd floor is ridiculously overpowered with the smell of marijuana and getting worse and worse, i thought i was living in luxury apartments….?

We want to express our deep concern about the lack of cleanliness in the hallways of the condominium, as well as about security. The entrance doors have not been closing for over two months, allowing anyone to access the building. In addition, more than a month ago, a package from Amazon arrived, but there are issues with the key and access to the package room, as we cannot get in. Between one administration and the next, time is passing, and every day we are getting worse. We request that urgent measures be taken, as our safety and well-being are at risk.”

Through this letter, we would like to express our concern and dissatisfaction with several situations currently affecting the building. First, the hygiene in the hallways is becoming increasingly noticeable. Proper cleaning is not being maintained, and this affects the quality of life of all residents. There is also serious concern about security, since the parking entrance remains open at all hours, which represents a risk for everyone who lives here. Additionally, when problems or repairs are reported through the maintenance portal, the requests are not handled properly or are simply marked as completed without actually being resolved. This situation is very frustrating. It is sad to see that, under both the previous and the current administration, time continues to pass, residents keep paying their fees, and there are still no real solutions to these problems. We hope these issues will be addressed with the seriousness and urgency they deserve, for the benefit of the entire community.

PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! READ BELOW!! I don't even know where to start. This place used to be so nice and kept up with. In the last year this place has seen a management change more than 6 times and has been bought out by a different company as well. To start the garage gates into the parking garage have been broken for a year now. This issue has caused many homeless people to wonder in and sleep in our garage and they are very aggressive when you confront them. We have a security guard that drives in and out maybe once a day in the evening but that's it. The hallways have been painted but looks terrible with many unfinished areas and sloppy work all around. Our new maintenance guy (after 5 new ones) told us when he started there was 175 work orders that haven't been completed. It took themmonths to come fix our dishwasher I could only imagine other residents that need something more urgent. The key fobs around the building are always broken so it's hard to get into the building all the damn time. For how expensive it is to live here you would think they would care about their residents more. All we hear is bunch of "it's getting worked on" or "we will take care of it" but nothing ever gets done. The Union at River East really needs to step up and do something about all of this.. Update 8/21/23 the workers really took all the trash out into the street (see picture attached).

At first I did not have high hopes after reading some of the reviews, however I loved the location, so I went ahead with my appointment and tour! I have to say as a manager myself I was impressed with the staff. The manager was very professional. I ended up signing a lease and am very happy with my new apartment! UPDATE READ THIS!!!!! Our company housing nurses, the property was very very bad with crime and management! We placed many good reviews so our nurses would feel safe, However what you read in past reviews are ALL TRUE, management is rude and lies daily, car thefts are every few days, all you have to do is get a free police report status for the address. ho housekeeping, doors and gates have been broken for months,, DO NOT LEASE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
