Casa La Mesa is a wonderful community. The manager, Kristine is so helpful and prompt. The maintenance team handled an issue the same day we requested it. The complex itself is clean and peaceful. We love it here

Kristine, the manager is hands down the best we've ever seen. If we have any appliance problems, she reaches back promptly and gets the problem fixed. My husband and I,were planning to move out. We needed a larger unit. Kristine talked us, about getting a larger one here. The only reason we stayed was because of her. Thank you for always be on top of it and making us feel at home!!!

Took a tour manager seemed nice was very welcoming and eager to show even though apartment was under construction we were very interested and never heard from her again. She offered my boyfriend a job too. But again she didn't follow up with either one of us. Thanks anyway. Would have loved to have seen a ready apartment. Getting our hopes up was the worst feeling too

I have lived in Casa La Mesa for over two years and have consistently encountered numerous issues with its maintenance practices. During the first year that I moved in, heavy rain caused multiple stains to develop on the ceilings. The roof was in such poor condition that some tenants had to move out or be relocated to another apartment because water was pouring into their homes and onto their property. The rain actually went from the roof down to the first floor. This caused their vacant apartment to remain uninhabitable for a very long time. It was only after this that they decided to address their roof problem. After the roof was replaced and a new coat of paint was applied to my ceiling, another rain came, and once again, new stains developed. They repainted it a second time, but the stains continue to seep through the paint. This is just a brief example of what I have dealt with in the past.
I'm currently dealing with a broken AC/heater that stopped working on April 9, 2024. After several discussions, I was informed that a bidding process needed to take place for approval to replace the unit. Tenants should not have to worry about the internal workings of the organization when they are paying for functioning appliances. I was told that the full replacement would occur within the first week of May. The new unit was partially installed on the 14th of May 2024. The unit is still not operational, and I have not been given a follow-up on the date when it will be completed. Meanwhile, the apartments that I mentioned previously are getting ready to be leased out while I am waiting for this AC to be properly installed. This real example should give all future tenants an idea of where Casa La Mesa has priorities.

I lived at Casa La Mesa for 4 years and really enojoyed my time there. Kristine, the apartment manager, is great. She is so warm and does nice things for the community like get new laundry machines for the laundry room and create fun gatherings like neighborhood BBQ's. She also follows through with what she says. And she cares. Whenever there is a problem, she will do whatever she can to fix it and won't stop until it is resolved. She listened to my concerns and took action.
The neighbors were super good to me. From the day I moved in, anybody I ran into introduced themselves to me and welcomed me into the neighborhood. There were a bunch of times I needed help, and they came to help me. I miss some of the neighbors there that I became close with.
I felt safe there. The pool is nice. Ken, the maintenance guy, is really kind and does a good job. All in all, my experience at Casa La Mesa was a positive one. It truly felt like home to me for 4 years.
Thank you, Kristine, for all that you did for me! :)
