are all clogged. Our fridge doesn't have enough room for 6 people to use and is literally held together by duct tape. Other than the living conditions it's alright. It's a 10 minute walk away from campus and theirs a bus stop super close. The game room has pool, ping-pong, and a theater that are all pretty nice. There's also a hot tub but it's been broken all year. Overall the rent isn't worth it but it's survivable if you have no other options.
see morehorrible. The parking situation is really bad, horrible parking lot which they charge and arm and a leg to park in.
see morecheap but with insurance it's really not, you'll be paying twice the price of what it's actually worth. They also don't clean or maintain the apartment very well before you move in. In the end it's not worth it.
see moreto the clubhouse if we wanted to use the bathroom. After about 2 months they finally replaced it. I was then charged with two types of renters insurance and was never refunded for paying two but they would add it to my payment every month. I never received a parking pass after signing the lease saying I needed one. I had to park 2 blocks away, later that winter I was booted in that lot I was paying for (their “overflow lot”) they had not informed me that I could not park there. Lastly, I never received my security deposit after being told I would get it back a week after I moved out. Everything was breaking in this apartment and the management was horrible. I do not recommend living here as it is over priced and lots of hidden payments you do not sign for.
see morenot go away during the year, yet after moving out, went away almost immediately. A cleaning fee of 40 dollars was imposed even after thoroughly deep cleaning everything, leaving it better than when they moved in. Rent was about 600 a month for this poor excuse of an apartment. Parking is a complete joke. Halfway through the year, Nelson Partners, owners of Alpine and 800 block, as well as a now decommissioned housing, gave my friends less than 48 hours, near the end of the week, to either pay 800 dollars for a single, or 400 for a tandem parking pass at 800 block parking. They ran out of parking passes on the actual property, and so they had to park at an unlit back lot in the decommissioned housing, but lost that "freedom" and had to get a new spot to park. Laundry was overpriced, and was in worse shape than most any laundromat I've ever been to. Renters beware. Go somewhere else and don't even bother taking a chance on it. Save your money, or at least put it towards something that will be worth the high prices of housing for students.
