I have loved in the spectrum apartments for 3 years now and have had no issues. As a single guy with roommates the apartment was warm and I never suffered for it. As a married man my wife and I had a private space we could sleep in comfortably and had room for all our items. The landlord always quickly dealt with broken appliances and was quick to respond. I loved being close to campus and our 2 story room had a great view.

You get what you pay for. The studio apartment is nice, management is nice, sometimes hard to get ahold of. Parking seems to be expensive for two cars, kinda annoying. But overall good. I have lived here for 2 years, it has a great location and its nice having my own space.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!
This is the Burgerking of apartment complexes
1. Management will charge you for anything they can.
2. Management is next to impossible to reach.
3. Repairs will not be done in a timely manner. The east side has a gutter that is broken, and it covers the stairs with ice in the winter. It's been like that for 3 years...
4. It may seem cheap but keep in mind your utilities will be about $150-$200 because the walls and doors are not well insulated.
We begrudgingly stayed for 2 years because we were poor college students, and the market went crazy while we were there. We've moved since but I still hear horror stories of people moving here.
Just keep searching, and you will find a better deal for just a little more in rent. It will be worth your sanity.

I do not recommend living here. We had to move out early, but gave them 30 days notice AND found a new tenant to take our spot immediately after we left. They charged us a $250 termination fee AND kept our last month of rent... $875 total! The termination fee was understandable and expected, but they didn't lose any rent in the transition and the charge seems so excessive. Whether stated in the contract or not, I don't think it's legal for them to keep our rent money.
Also, our apartment stunk of cigarettes and the toilet overflowed multiple times. If you're like us and looking to live here because it's cheap, consider that you'll be paying an extra $200/mo in utilities and wifi when considering how affordable it is.
On the plus side, it is conveniently close to campus.

Do not live in any of their housing!! Management is very poor. They would never return my calls, and they don't take care of their properties. Our apartment is in dire need of new carpet, paint and fixes to the structure of the floor. Very overpriced for a dump of an apartment.
I sold my spring contract and I have been waiting almost two months to get my money back from them. They currently have stopped responding and I am out 1600$.
