Since living here, I have had a great time living with my friends. The events that are offered to residents are a fun way to get to know the others, as well as spending time with my suitemates. Management has also been great responding to any issues we have had. Overall, great experience so far!

The staff are very nice and helpful! But that’s pretty much the only nice thing I can say. This place is just not worth the money. It’s very cheaply built. The rooms are tiny and there is no storage - my roommate and I had to loft our beds so we had room to fit all of our stuff, and even then we had almost no breathing room. The walls are very thin, and noise echoes in the stairwell. The kitchen is very hard to move around in and the dishwasher and sink are terrible. You get water everywhere when you wash dishes because the sink is so shallow. The smoke alarm went off almost every time we cooked, even when there was no visible smoke. The building fire alarm also malfunctioned multiple times and went off repeatedly. We had to call the fire department three separate times because of a gas leak that we could smell and put work orders in for it each time, and only on the third time did someone actually repair the leak. The elevator was always broken. The layout of the whole apartment is just bad in general.
Also, the apartment was not clean when we moved in. The floors were so dirty that when we mopped the swiffer pad came out black.

If you guys have ever thought about living at element !!! Literally NEVER EVER EVER EVER DO IT. I have had the worst experience here. It was my first living at USC AND GOT COMPLETELY SCAMMED BY THIS PLACE. It was a mess since I moved in. The place smelled disgusting and the other roommate was a complete mess. Then I go to wash my clothes a week into living there and there's mold everywhere in the washing machine!!! They told us for two weeks that they were going to replace it and STILL nothing. I go in to talk to the manager and he tells me he needs to talk to the maintenance guy and they haven't ordered the part after telling me for two weeks that they had ordered the washing machine. Bunch of liars. Keep in mind my rent is over 2k!!!! There's parties and people screaming from the pool. You can hear every single thing in that apartment! When someone closes their bathroom door, flushes their toilet, talks, walks, the cars outside, LITERALLY EVERYTHING !! There is no privacy. They have a rule of guests being able to stay 7 days and they can leave for a couple and then come back and stay another 7 nights so I have the pleasure of living with my roommates mom for 2 weeks in the tiniest apartment !! It's ridiculously overpriced!!! Get a studio at Jasper and it'll be cheaper to live by yourself. DO NOT LIVE HERE OMG!! I wish I had toured more places and never lived here. It's actually hell. I feel like all the positive reviews have to be paid ones especially for the renewal because this place sucks and I think you got extra entries in a raffle if you posted on Google.

lived here for two years and had nice encounters with all staff and management teams (from front desk workers to maintenance to janitors and security). The apt complex is kept clean and well-maintained. Office likes to host events to help resident engagement and free food! Sometimes traffic noises from Hoover can be loud but it depends which side of the complex you live on. Amenities are constantly being renovated!

Emna, the leasing agent was one of the nicest we have ever encountered on a visit touring any properties near USC. Would highly recommend the apartments there because I guarantee the staff alone will make you feel right at home.
