0/5 stars DO NOT STAY HERE. Absolutely terrible. RUDE MAINTENANCE. Quick story. Summertime and It was 85+ outside. My room was easily 90+, I had broken AC. I was experiencing literal heat strokes. I asked maintenance to fix it, they came in and said they fixed it but it didn’t even work (I thought that’s ok I can just ask them to come again). The unit was broken and they said they’d get a new one and left not even telling me when it would come. I wait a few days and almost had to go to the freaking hospital. HERES THE MOST FRUSTRATING PART: one day I saw the maintenance guy and I’ll never forget what he did. He was a tall, African American guy with a backwards baseball cap and when I asked him if there were any updates on the new AC he yelled “I ALREADY EXPLAINED TO YOU!” (He didn’t explain anything) I tried to kindly ask him again if there were any updates bc I’m literally miserable living there and he said “I AINT EXPLAINING AGAIN” before I could even finish my sentence, he literally cut me off. This infuriated me and I advise new freshmen coming into MSU DO NOT GO HERE. Some other things that may gather insight as to why I am so heated at this place lol. Frustrating billing system, slow to respond, and the rooms are filthy. Holes in walls are just painted over, you have to use their public dryers (you have to pay for each time and they are always covered in dust or broken), area sucks too, drunkards are always getting pulled over next to the property and light up your room. cabrio properties suck :(

I'm extremely frustrated with the recent mass text threatening fines and withholding security deposits for leaving large items outside. It's unacceptable to make such threats when there are no security cameras in or around the building, and we don’t even have a dumpster provided for residents who are moving out. Instead of issuing empty threats, you should be taking concrete steps to address these issues. Install security cameras, provide a dumpster, and fix the intercom system. It's only fair that you offer practical solutions before resorting to threats .
