Freshman Live-On Requirement
Minnesota State Mankato requires all first-year students who have graduated from a Minnesota high school within the past year and are enrolled full-time to live in university residence halls for their first year. Exemptions are available for students who are 21 or older, married, living with a parent or legal guardian within a reasonable commuting distance, or who have completed a certain number of college credits before enrolling.
