We have only moved in for about a week and admittedly we've had a lot of issues with the apartment already. But Im mainly writing this review to shout out Bailey and Ally two lovely representatives at highland apartments. They have been absolute treasures during this whole process. Were first time renters, and I especially have had a mountain of questions and concerns that they both have been incredibly kind and patient with.

I moved here in 2015. First apartment when moving to this state. Moved in to new carpets and fresh paint. We moved out in 2016 and was told they needed to replace all the carpets cause of my room mates dog. The dog never scratched at the floor and we would always vacuum. There is no way the carpets needed replacing. I’d never recommend this place to anyone.

STAY FAR AWAY!! On top of new owners wanting 1800 for these POS apartments. Work orders are never completed, but will be marked as completed with no work done. The pool is never open because of weather proofing never being done. No new upgrades to community areas but charging up the hind for maintenance to them. This is all a joke. I appreciate the patience the landlords have had with me paying rent but besides that you can get MUCH nicer apartments for $1800

Im only giving a 1 because the 1 maintains man is amazing and the 6th manger in 2 years is finally a good one Hector he amazing. He has so little to work with. These two men work so hard with so little to work with. The pool won't be opening on time again for summer. It was not weather proofed 2nd year in a row. Last year opened late mo th and half and closed early. I get told by one of the other managers that the pool is extra gift not a have to give to the people living here. Hector worked his magic to get it open as long as it did of 2024 summer. I do not see how this place has 3 and half star at all. Garbage piles up. Water pipes main piping breaking we don't get told what's going on and go into the weekend with no water or word of what's going on.we pay 100 in maintenance fees no green grass I tripped over netting in the dirt try to play with my kids I have had 4 major hip surgeries I tripped and fell few times I stopped trying. I asked maintenance they said rip it out or wait till we can. We wait I got pregnant and was trying to pick up my dogs poop and tripped in the neting fell on my belly I ripped the bet stuff out asap.when it snows they don't do much no salt or shoveling. I call in sheet three days and falling they said oh we did it we took video I said I have videos for 3 days and now my area and others not done. I got told all my neighbor that's a guy. He did help thank God two neighbors did I'm blessed with great neighbors we all work together in this mess. Like I have locking bedding doors no keys same with the bathroom with having a 5 year old she fiddles stuff the lock and 1 time locked her bedroom door I couldn't get help from the female manager she said ask your neighbor he has a latter so I did he minor to help my kids had got out the shower with towls when my 5 year old locked it fiddling it talking to me about school few weeks later 5 year old locked the bathroom door with the shower they said I have a half bath no rush the lady manager said all your neighbor is said there is no window this time she days but he is s guy he can help so off course I asked and he helped take the door nob off and to get it open and back on for me I said why not hire him he's amazing and fixing his own unit but they rather run the one guy the is maintains the places into the ground or make us wait forever. It's not right how much we pay and do for our self where is the 100 a month a unit going for maintenance nothing is being done outside grounds keep or the pool let alone I had a river from my sink to my heater from 5am till 1pm neighbors tried to help the lady filling in that day to new management came days sheet I cakes 5 times came in said I'll give you a none renewal we will be there after an inspection that's more important I took loads of videos and pix of leak/ river i had used all my tools and started using bedding not ok at all for 2000g in rent when I fell in the snow with my son that is 1 it hurt but I had no help to go to the er with 3 kids and didn't break anything no point in going to the er I just really want when it shows like how when I moved in they had it done within 2 hrs they used not a snow blower but snow thing that cleared the walk way to the stairs a foot wide but it was just enough and they salted it a few times they never blocked our cars in I couldn't get out from how they had the road plowed and I counted in my walk 6 cars stuck trying to get to work or kids to school cuz how they did it this winter but when I'd call oh we did it we have video so do for the last 3 days nothing few times a day I'd try to go out to walk my dog or go food shopping but had to turn around and go back in they even did the stairs when I moved in the 1st winter and this winter next to nothing and when I said I have video too she would say oh ok I'll send someone but didn't till next day most the time and when I had that leak no help with all the water into the heater also had a leak in my main bathroom 2years I have mold my downstairs neighbor has mold too from the leak I'm told keep the fan on its load broke

I literally can not make my payment I have been trying for days to make my monthly payment but no one is in the office. Now I have been charged a late fee and get a 3 day notice to vacate. I had my daughter go to the office so many times while I was at work and no one was in the office. Not only do they charge you more in your water fee because their main water line broke they charge you a double amount in renters insurance!!! The ice was so bad I fell (thank goodness I wasn’t holding my child) and hurt my shoulder I have a hospital bill and visit dated 24 hours after this happened. Our water was shut off for over 72 hours. This place is a joke, I also reached out to the office last month to give a 60 day notice so I can be out by April. So please understand that because no one is ever in the office and doesn’t answer their phone I am writing today to give a 30 day notice because my 60 days was already given!!! Over 1900 dollars for a 2 bed 1 1/2 bathroom with no washer or dryer hook ups. If you all need a good please haven point is 3 beds two full bath wi the washer and dryer hook ups and also have a workout room and no one is going to take your clothes from the washroom…. How you going to charge people 107 dollars a month for maintenance when it looks like this?? There are 113 apartments that by 107 dollars a month!!! 6 mangers later after 2 years of living here is not recommended. I will also be going to the BBB with this!!!
