Parking is not for the weak! About a 0.5-1 mile walk to your car every time. The apartments themselves are really nice, clean, and spacious. Not as social as I expected though. Windows don’t open so there are a lot of different smells from dinners mixing

I lived here my freshman year and overall had a great experience! I really appreciated having a full kitchen and living room space. I shared a room with another student-athlete from my team, which worked out perfectly since our schedules matched with practices and early mornings. The RAs were also amazing and very supportive! The only negative part of my experience had nothing to do with Heritage itself, but rather a specific roommate situation. One roommate consistently left messes in the kitchen and living room and would blame others for it. There was also an incident where she placed dirty trash bags on my roommate’s and my beds. Eventually, she was asked to leave, but at one point she regained access with her key card and burned some of our photos that were on the fridge. Aside from that situation, my overall experience living here was positive!

Heritage Halls is a nice place to live overall — the apartments are pretty modern, the community is good, and it’s in a convenient spot on campus. The biggest downside by far is the parking. It’s super limited and really inconvenient, which makes having a car here kind of a hassle. If you don’t have a car, it’s great, but if you do, be prepared for parking frustrations.

I loved staying here! I lived in heritage during summer semester and it was so awesome! I had an amazing ward and people were always inviting you to something! I didn't have a car, so I didn't have to worry about parking. I would 10/10 recommend staying here. It's cheap and it's close to Creamery on 9th and bus stops, and you don't need to buy a meal plan. The only con is that it's not as social as Helaman Halls is, because we spend a lot of time in our kitchen and living room with our roommates and other visitors if they happen to be there. It's still really social though!

Definitely an upgrade from what I was staying in when I came here. The buildings are very well designed and there’s plenty of green space all around to study or hang out with friends. It would be nice to have more parking but other than that it’s an awesome place to stay while studying at BYU.

Last year, as an incoming freshman at BYU, I worried about finding housing that was both cheap and good quality. I have found that Heritage Halls is an amazing place to live, and would recommend it to any incoming Freshman. It is a walking distance from campus, a 20 minute walk at most if you are going from the furthest building to the south end of campus and are a slow walker. Rent is reasonable for on campus housing with the amount of room in an apartment. The living room and kitchen are spacious, as well as the bedroom area. Having three sinks to share between 6 girls works out perfectly. Though desks are provided, if you need a change of scenery there is an activity room down the hall that you can do homework in. The parking situation can be frustrating at times, but if you don't need to use your car often you can easily grow accustomed to the walk to the parking lot. Should you rent this apartment? No question about it! I rented from fall 2017 through winter 2018.

I have lived here for two days. What an adventure! Great living space, plenty of room, and neighbors aren't bad either. My only complaint is the ironing board. For lack of better terms, it's trash. I tried ironing my shirt yesterday for a special occasion and the rickety, old, bare-bones board gave me nothing but troubles. The metal of the board is covered by a glorified water-proof napkin. The iron kept running into screws on the surface, creating an odd pattern of bumps on my blouse. Other than the ironing board, Heritage Halls is a wonderful establishment!

Honestly, such an amazing place to live. The apartments are beautiful, we never once had any problems with our appliances and the apartments are really spacious. I really learned how amazing these were when I began to look elsewhere. Parking by the conference center is a bummer when you have a car but you get used to it. Seriously would recommend it to any freshman.
