This is an awful place to live, and I would not recommend it to anyone. We have had ongoing issues that management refuses to take seriously. We have found mice in our apartment, and despite reporting it, no meaningful precautions or solutions were taken. The walls are extremely thin — we can hear our neighbors’ conversations, sneezing, coughing, and daily activities as if they’re in our own unit. Smoke is another major issue. Tenants regularly smoke cigarettes and weed inside their apartments, and the smell travels through the vents and fills our unit. Recently, new upstairs neighbors moved in with a husky dog that cries for hours nonstop. The noise is unbearable and sounds like the dog is inside our apartment. Even after complaints, management has done nothing to address it. Safety is also a serious concern. Police are frequently present because something is always happening, and there are sketchy individuals walking around late at night. Overall, it feels like an unsafe environment. You also have no control over the AC. It is managed entirely by the complex through an outdated swamp cooler system that does not work. During hot summer months, the apartment becomes unbearably hot. There are no washers or dryers in the units, nor any hookups. The shared laundry facilities are unreliable and often broken. Clothes are left sitting for hours, water leaks from the machines, and the area smells like sewage and mold. It’s an extremely unpleasant and unsanitary place to do laundry. I am about to have a baby and have serious health and safety concerns, but management has shown zero care or urgency. Despite all of these ongoing issues, they still refuse to let tenants break the lease without a 60-day notice and crazy additional fees — even when the problems are clearly on their end. For the amount of rent charged, you can absolutely find somewhere much better. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere.

I love living here at Lookout Pointe Apartments! Maddy and Jenson are very on top of things in the office, and the maintenance team Jedd and Jason are quick with repairs. The views are amazing, apartments are cute & it’s very reasonably priced in today’s market.
