My daughter lived at both Grandview and C Street Suites throughout her college years at WSU. C Street Suites was especially ideal, as it was conveniently located near campus and her sorority. She truly enjoyed her time living there. Coug Housing has been nothing short of stellar to work with at both properties. The buildings are well maintained, and the team is incredibly easy and professional to work with. Everyone we interacted with—Austin, Jess, and Adisyn—was always quick to respond to any questions that came up. Most importantly, my daughter always felt safe and secure, which gave me great peace of mind living hours away from home. I highly recommend Coug Housing and will continue to refer others their way.

My son lived at C Street Suites in Pullman, and we had a really positive experience. The property was well maintained, the location was convenient, and the management team at Coug Housing was responsive whenever questions came up. It’s clear they care about the residents and take pride in how the property is run. C Street suites felt safe, organized, and comfortable; exactly what you want when your kid is living away from home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to other families looking at housing options in Pullman.

Coug Housing in Pullman was a great experience for our family. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always easy to communicate with which made a big difference, especially as a parent. The properties were perfect for my son and daughter specially the 446: clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. The whole process, from move-in to day-to-day support, was smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend Coug Housing to anyone looking for a solid, welcoming place to live in Pullman.

Loved the staff at Coug housing. My apartment complex on C St was maintained really well, the maintenance guys were always SO nice and would come at crazy hours if i asked them too, and parking was never a problem. The staff always made sure to say hi and ask questions about you when you came into the office which was nice to have. They also have fun stuff going on in the office during the week so be sure to check out their instagram stories for that!! They always were accommodating when it came to any issues with payment or rent and wanted to help you out the best that they could. 10/10 love coug housing and miss living there!! good place to be living and super close to campus so it made commuting to classes SUPER easy and safe

I lived at Coug Housing for three years, and my experience was consistently poor. Despite paying $75 per month for parking, they never enforced the parking rules. I often came home from work at 1–2 a.m. and had to park on the street because my assigned spot was taken—usually by people who didn’t even live there. When I reported it, they’d just tell me, “maintenance might swing by for tickets,” but we never once saw anyone get a sticker or the boot. Nothing was ever done.
Even worse, some staff members in the leasing office made the environment uncomfortable and unprofessional. During my first year living there, my random roommate who I didn’t get along with (just came down to differences in living habits) became friendly with certain Coug Housing staff and began spreading rumors about me. Rather than maintaining professionalism, these staff members actually engaged in gossip—asking my next random roommate for the next two years inappropriate questions like, “What’s it like living with ___?” and “We heard she’s a terrible roommate. Good luck!” I ended up becoming best friends with my second random roommate, so it sucks knowing the leasing office I was loyal to for three years spread gossip about me. It genuinely hurt my feelings and made me dread going into the office when I needed to. Sometimes I would wait a week to get a package because I had anxiety about seeing these staff members. What’s worse is that more than one person who lived at Coug Housing confirmed they were gossiping about me—it wasn’t just one or two isolated instances, but at least three different residents who heard it firsthand. It’s extremely unprofessional and bizarre behavior from people pushing 30 who are supposed to manage a property and maintain professionalism. Mind you, I was 20 years old at the time and have never talked to these people beyond small talk in the office.
After my roommate was roofied on a night out and lost her key to get into our building, we went to get it replaced at the office the next morning, and as soon as we left the office, we overheard staff talking poorly about us for “getting too drunk.” She had to get stitches and they couldn’t help but make snarky comments. They had no idea of the actual situation and still felt the need to gossip—again, incredibly immature and inappropriate. They couldn’t even wait until we were out the door.
Another serious issue: one night I got locked out after returning home from the bars and called emergency maintenance for help. I’ll admit I had been drinking (like most college students in Pullman), but instead of responding professionally or even calling back, I later found out that staff played my voicemail to the entire office and laughed about it. Not only was that humiliating, but nobody ever came or followed up—I had to sleep in my car that night in the summer because all my friends were still on the west side. No apology, no accountability, and still full rent due at $1,200+ per month.
Finally, they attempted to unfairly charge my security deposit, only reimbursing me after my parents threatened legal action. My roommate never even got a response about hers and decided to pay it after getting ghosted for two months because she didn’t think $100 was worth getting sent to collections or dealing with legal recourse. We had a detailed move-out video as well proving we left the place in better condition than we found it (when I moved in I found dirty Q-tips and toe nail clippings on the floor in my bathroom).
I could go on about more weird and unprofessional instances, but this sums it up pretty well. Between the lack of parking enforcement, unprofessional staff behavior, unsafe conditions, and complete lack of accountability, I would strongly discourage anyone from renting here. Coug Housing needs serious management changes and oversight.
