Hillcrest is a great place to stay! The Manager Quincy is wonderful and does a great job trying to keep up with everyone here and make sure we sre comfortable.
There are some complaints about the Heating and AC, but when you factor in the age of the complex, there were different building codes and requirements. The Heaters are more than enough to heat the space if doors are left open to allow the heat to pass through. It's a wonderful location and has the added benefit of bot having too many people cramped into a small space.

Should be 0 stars if possible. They don’t have air conditioning and barely any heating, the heating is only from the fireplace which only works half the time. No vents in the apartment and once you sign the contract and move in, they expect you to buy a portable heater. They also don’t know how to do clean checks and fail you multiple times which is completely insane because I did my job. Complete scam. DO NOT LIVE HERE.

Hillcrest is AMAZING!! It's roomy and homey and management is GREAT!! I LOVE Quincy! She just makes the place feel like a home away from home. They offer little snacks almost every Tuesday and are always wonderful with complaints or requests. It's built less like an apartment complex and more like a little neighborhood filled with friendly residents. Sure, there's no AC, but for what they're charging in comparison to similarly equipped housing, you can just buy a fan. The place I used to stay at was so money hungry and management was so rude, but not as Hillcrest! If you actually clean up after yourself (which IS part of your contract in near EVERY student housing), they don't try and pinch pennies and squeeze you for all you're worth. They have realistic expectations for clean/white glove checks. Honestly, if I could give it six stars, I would - Oh wait!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hillcrest this last semester has screwed me over time and time again. Management is forgetful and irresponsible. Getting matinence requests complete nowadays takes months before anything happens. There is no provided AC for the spring and summer times. I lived there for two years and it used to be a great place now it has become a headache to live.

I’ve just moved in last week from New York and the Hillcrest is absolutely amazing. There is such a great community of people living here and management and maintenance are both wonderful! The maintenance gentleman Luke came by almost immediately after I filed the maintenance repair request! Me and my dog Jerry have settled in beautifully!! Definitely recommend this apartment complex if you’re attending BYU IDAHO!!!
