Lark San Antonio

Horrible experience. Front office and management were RARELY helpful. I was overcharged more than $100 my whole time staying here (1 year). Claimed they fixed my rent and fees but that was only temporary. You have to constantly check your rent every month to make sure you are accurately being charged. They also love to charge an extra trash-pickup fee but refuse to provide something with their requirements/ expectations on valet trash. You don’t know the guidelines for what to do and not to do regarding trash pick-up until you are charged and YOU ask why. Only a handful of parking spots for over 1000 residents…. So much more wrong with these apartments. DO NOT LIVE HERE!! Rent also went up for people who are already renting, instead of going down lije most apartments.

If you are considering living at Lark San Antonio, save yourself the stress, frustration, and disappointment and look somewhere else. This has easily been one of the worst living experiences I’ve had, and I genuinely regret renewing here. The maintenance staff are honestly the only positive part of this apartment complex. They are kind, respectful, and do their best with what they’re given. Unfortunately, the upper management completely ruins the experience. They are rude, unaccommodating, dismissive of resident concerns, and incredibly irresponsible when handling serious issues. Safety is a major concern here. The gate system is constantly broken — almost every single month there’s some issue with it either being stuck open or not working at all. For a student apartment complex that advertises security, it feels extremely unsafe. During the transition between WiFi providers, residents were left without WiFi for an unacceptable amount of time, and when internet finally came back, it was openly accessible without proper security. Anyone could connect to it, which is honestly concerning and irresponsible. The cleanliness of this place is horrible. The hallways constantly smell bad, trash piles up for days, and there are literally bugs and rats in the hallways. It feels neglected and poorly managed. On top of that, packages are constantly mishandled. Staff have sent packages to the wrong units multiple times, which shows how disorganized management is. What makes this even more frustrating is that despite all these issues, my rent actually increased compared to the previous year. Paying more money for worse conditions is ridiculous. Overall, this place is severely overpriced for the quality and management you receive. I am extremely disappointed with my experience here and will absolutely never live here again. I would not recommend Lark San Antonio to anyone looking for a safe, clean, or professionally managed place to live.
