Management is poor and will find any excuse to not give your security deposit back, also moving out is a joke, if you move out slightly too early they forfeit your refunds. The building itself is outdated and gross. The pool and pool area is never clean. If you need maintenance, it will take weeks almost months for it to get done. Suggest not staying here. Canyon lands or Abby apartments are much better, suggest going there

Campus Villas was a great place to live! They recently got new management, and they are ON TOP OF IT! They reply promptly and do what they can to help. If they don't know at first, they ask the proper questions and get things done. Would've stayed longer but I'm getting married. It's fantastic student housing! Very affordable, plus you have a pool that is maintained.

If you're looking for a way to expand your patience, then this is the apartment for you. There are several ways in which campus villas will help you out in your feat. For example, your apartment might flood 4 different times, or your washer might give out and you'll be without one for almost two weeks. You might also have the loudest microwave and dishwasher known to all mankind. But overall, these apartments are okay. Nothing fancy but there is worse out there. The location is pretty great if you're planning on walking to campus. If you're hungry, the McDonald's is right across the street so that's convenient. I haven't had any issues with the managers, they're usually quick to respond but I know that isn't the case for everyone. Oh and the pool is great. I've seen like three people swim in it the whole time I've been here but it does make for a good tanning location. Oh and the LDS ward is awesome.

The apartments themselves are nice, but the current management is not very helpful.
The closet in my room flooded the night before I moved in and it took them more than three weeks to have it fixed. In the meantime, I had to sleep with a fan on and a window open. This was very disruptive. I also couldnt use the closet and the entire apartment smelt like mildew because of this.
The pool is always disgusting (I have even seen bats flying around it). I would not tr8ust it. Even after cleaning the carpet, the carpet stained our feet black. We all wore slippers in the apartment.
Also, the location is right next to a bar. This, in and of itself, is not a problem, except when the bar lets out at midnight or 1am, the people come party in the parking lot at the Campus Villas.
Also, the management conducts monthly cleaning checks. This isn't a big deal, but they expect everyone to be home during these checks. It also gets annoying when the managers are constantly there.

I liked Campus Villas overall. I had good roommates, the managers are helpful and willing to listen, the LDS ward is great, and it is in a very convenient location (as I did not have a car) right above DSU and surrounded by other dorm buildings and food places.
But there were some drawbacks. I had a room next to the parking lot, and curfew was not enforced. This usually was fine, but not when you have a test the next morning and there are a dozen kids partying in the parking lot until 4 am. This happened all the time. The walls are paper-thin, so you hear everything that goes on outside, in the next room, etc. Another thing that really sucked was the repairs. Our washer broke right before the semester ended (right before we all moved out) because it was old (ours was not the only one that had broken recently), and, unfortunately, appliances tend to eventually break haha. Anyways, the owners said that it was user error (though it was not), and the bill exceeded $540, so we all got to pay more than $90 after moving out to have it fixed, and it was broken for almost the entire two weeks before moving day. We also had a broken toilet for several days, so we got to make quite a few potty trips to Mcdonald's up the street until it was fixed (lucky we were near the golden arch!!). And the carpets are NASTY.......all of my roommates and I threw away many socks that were stained black from just walking on the floors. So if you move in, bring slippers!! Also, the pool is too cold (and gross) to swim in most of the year, but great place to suntan! But besides that, Campus Villas was a great place for my first year at Dixie, and I would recommend it to those wanting to experience college life.
