If my life depended on it, I wouldn’t stay here again. Since moving to Redpoint Tuscaloosa, I’ve faced numerous problems. On my move-in day, mold was everywhere on the kitchen walls and bathroom. I’ve also encountered water roaches, spiders, and ants. Roaches and ants were coming from my bathroom drain, and ants were crawling across the side of my bed and up the ceiling. I’m a very clean person, you wouldn’t find food or anything out in my room. My roommates and I also had issues with ants in the pantry, forcing us to throw out most of our groceries. I called the office, expecting some help and understanding, but I received the complete opposite. I explained that I couldn’t sleep in my room because of the ants, but they dismissed my concerns, claiming that pest control only came on Mondays, which was ridiculous because it was an emergency. I ended up having to buy my own ant baits to get rid of them. Even the front porch is filthy! They literally brush off any problems you have and half-ass their jobs. For me to be paying almost $900 in rent, I would have liked to be accommodated better. The building needs to be rebuilt and torn down because it’s disgusting. I won’t be living here next fall, and I highly recommend that everyone else avoid it.
