I have lived here over a year now and it’s just gone so downhill. While the management team has some really friendly people, and the amenities come in handy (like the gym and occasional free food/gifts for residents) there shouldn’t be this many recurring issues for a monthly rent so high. If you want to be able to hear other people’s full drunk conversations in the hallway in middle of the night, this is the place for you. Walls are thin as paper. I didn’t expect to be able to hear everything someone is saying in the hallway, all the way from my bedroom. The “quiet hours” do nothing. Not to mention the consistent fire alarms going off, when there hasn’t even been a fire. The maintenance staff is not helpful for the most part. When I moved in this fall, my unit hadn’t even been cleaned or repainted, resulting in both maintenance and management staff coming in UNANNOUNCED 1-2 times a day for a whole week… Trash rooms and hallways are constantly filled with gnats, and they often make their way into the units. The power randomly goes out resulting in groceries going bad. Expect random fees that were never brought to your attention. I could go on and on. Save your stress, money, and mental health and lease somewhere else. The cons unfortunately outweigh the pros.

If you’re thinking about staying here. DONT!! Throughout my 5 years at UC I’ve stayed all over the place and the verge is the worst and most expensive. It takes forever to get an issue addressed, multiple tickets, calls, and communication, then they show up and break more stuff and close the ticket. The mail system is non-operational, they lost so much of my mail. And the front desk persons can’t help at all, they keep saying come by tomorrow and nothing changes tomorrow. I’m still living there and CANNOT wait until my lease is over. Trust me you’d rather live anywhere else, they’ll take your money then ignore you, all the other reviews are correct.
