Alverno College Housing Requirements
Freshman Live-On Requirement
Alverno is a small private college on Milwaukee's south side and does not impose a broad freshman live-on mandate. The college offers limited on-campus residence options, but many students, including commuters and adult learners, live off campus from the start. There is no requirement that first-year students remain in college housing.
Off-Campus Eligibility
Any Alverno student may rent off campus, and the surrounding south-side Milwaukee neighborhoods offer affordable houses, duplexes, and apartments.
