I lived at Domain last year and currently. I love both of the floor plans I had and the amenities. Domain does a great job spoiling their residents and when it comes to maintenance and such they are very fast and efficient! The rent is also on par with most of the surrounding apartments so I would definitely recommend Domain!

I really like the location, it’s close to campus and walkable to a lot of places. The common areas are very clean and the team is easily accessible. The apartments are spacious and come with everything you need. I will say the proximity to Northgate can be a downside because it’s very loud at night. Also while things are fixed in a timely manner, they’re never fully fixed (we’ve had AC problems this whole school year and our dryer hasn’t worked properly since we moved in in 2024 despite them “fixing” it often). Overall I am happy living here, the neighbors are nice and respectful but there are definitely some areas of improvement in regards so admin.

I’ve had a really good experience living at Domain Northgate. The rooms are nice, the amenities are great, and I love how close it is to campus, especially for the price. I also really like that the building has fewer units, so it never feels overly crowded.
I’ve had no problems whatsoever with management or the apartment itself. The only minor downsides are that the dryer is a bit weak, so I usually have to run my laundry through a couple of cycles, and the bathtub faucet has low water pressure, which makes it take a while to fill. Construction nearby can also be loud at times.
Other than those small things, everything has been perfect. Overall, it’s a great place to live if you want a good price and close proximity to campus.

They host cool events and have alright maintenance. Theres a trash room on each floor and they provide a gym, pool, and lounge. Overall pretty good even though the coffee in the lounge is always gone and the maintenance was a little slow. The rent is too high for what they provide though.

I feel as though Domain is not organized in the best possible way. When I first moved in, I waited weeks for my clogged sink and bathtub to be fixed. I've also had a few packages that were lost even though I received pictures of it being delivered to the office. The Louise Ave garage gate also being closed all the times is really inconvenient, not sure if it is broken or something but it has been like that for months. The coffee machine in the lounge is advertised as a selling point for the apartment but is frequently not stocked with anything besides mediocre flavors of tea. I have put in work orders that people never responded to or was marked completed when no one even came in the unit. I asked the staff about our tv remote and how we were told we would get a Roku tv when we toured. They said they could place an order for a remote and now 4 months later, we still have not gotten anything. I also don't appreciate the limited number of guest parking spots as well as study rooms. One of the two study rooms does not even have chairs with a back, just uncomfortable seats and little side tables. I would not even call that a study room. The printer in the business center is incredibly complicated to use and has no instructions on how to connect. The only way I can use it is through the one computer, which is also incredibly slow. The sidewalk on First St is almost always blocked by the big dumpsters. The trash being right next to the elevator also creates a foul smell to walk in. Our unit is also really dark because all windows are blocked off by the neighboring apartment and trees. Not anyone's fault but it is depressing to live in. The construction all around has also been a headache to wake up to, again, not anyone's fault but just annoying. All of these reasons made me come to the decision that I do not want to renew here. Hope you appreciate the feedback and take this into consideration!
