Myself, my boyfriend, and our 1 year old child were planning on moving here and let them know we would be able to move in here in two months due to our current leasing office needing 60 day notice. They said that it was no problem. We did the application, got accepted, paid a deposit and even signed a legally binding lease document for a specific unit that they signed as well and sent back. I thought everything was a done deal until I went up there to make sure everything was still set and stone so I could go and set up my utilities just to find out that they had illegally voided my lease and gave our unit to someone else. I never got a call or nothing. Mind you, at this point, we were supposed to be moving into this place within the next 20 days and we now had no apartment nor a lease agreement because they said they can cancel a lease whenever they want all because someone was moving in sooner than we were. When I expressed fear of now being homeless due to their carelessness, I was told by a woman in their office to 'collect myself' as I was on the verge of crying. They were requesting that I do the whole process all over again. This place is very poorly managed and clearly thinks they're allowed to illegally void a lease anytime they want, as the woman in the office told me they could do so. Thankfully I did get my deposit back, but none of this was worth my time or stress when I could've gone somewhere else that was more trustworthy and reliable.

The pool that they advertise was not in service all summer of 2025 (except for maybe a handful of days.) The garbage is usually full of old furniture, leaving residents little room to dispose of our own trash. Thus trash spills all over the ground, and then they threaten residents with fines for leaving trash outside our doors, I’ve lived here for two years, and three of the seven washing machines and at least one dryer in the laundromat have been out of service THE ENTIRE TIME. The office was closed for several days for the past two weeks: Yom Kippur, an “office holiday” for two days the week before last, the Thursday and Friday before Veteran’s Day, the day of Veteran’s Day, and the day after Veteran’s Day. They also might be closed the following day…. They’ve had most of the trees cut down in the last few days, leaving wood stacked or piled around the complex and pieces of wood in the parking lot. Their idea of “landscaping” is dollar store plastic ferns stuck into the ground by the so-called swimming pool. From one week to the next, you never know who will be the newest office manager. Those are just a few of the problems. For an extra $100-200/month, you can get a place much better!
