Feb 20, 2026When I say this has been the worst experience I’ve ever had, I mean exactly that. I moved here because everything was new, the property looked great, and the complex seemed promising. But everything that glitters is definitely not gold. Honestly, I would’ve been better off staying at The Verandas, and that says a lot.
The biggest issue has been the complete lack of communication between the office staff and management. I’ve lived here for a year, and I cannot wait to move next week. I will not be renewing my lease. I’d rather give my money to a place that actually values its tenants and knows how to respond to an email.
Let’s start with management—because that alone speaks volumes. This place is only two years old and has already gone through two different management companies. They can’t keep anyone because the unprofessionalism is out of control.
Then there’s the noise. The walls are so thin you hear everything. My upstairs neighbors were unbearable, and even after multiple complaints, nothing was done. All I got was, “There’s nothing we can do.” So basically, deal with it.
And let’s not forget the mess when I first moved in. The leasing staff couldn’t even calculate correctly. A few days after moving in, they slapped a notice on my door saying I owed money—money based on the move‑in amount they gave me. After asking for an itemized bill and having my wife go through it, it turned out they were completely wrong. They actually owed me money. That alone should’ve been a red flag.
But the final straw was the letter taped to my door saying “lease termination at end of lease term.” Naturally, I thought they were telling me I couldn’t renew. I called. I emailed. No response. A whole month later, they suddenly put a renewal packet on my door. By then, I was done. I went and found a house because I refuse to play games with my living situation—especially when I have children. That kind of confusion and lack of communication is unacceptable.
Now they’re blowing up my inbox asking me to renew. How about responding to my original email first? Or picking up the phone? It’s pathetic.
If you’re looking for a good place to live, do yourself a favor and go around the corner to The Verandas. The rent is cheaper, the units are bigger, and I stayed there for three years with none of these issues. I made the mistake of thinking something new meant something better. It didn’t.
And one more thing—they advertise valet trash. There has been no valet trash. Not once in the entire year I’ve lived here. Instead, everyone has to walk their trash all the way to the one dumpster shoved at the far end of the property. I genuinely feel bad for the elderly residents who have to deal with that.
No one deserves to go through this. If you want a place where you’re respected and actually communicated with, look elsewhere—because it’s definitely not here.
