Oct 21, 2025I can tell you almost every detail about what my upstairs neighbors do in the day. Because I can hear every step they take.
Building is poorly insulated to the point where I can hear my upstairs neighbors any time they touch the floor. I can also hear full conversations happening in the office through the wall of my bedroom.
Do you like waking up to find bloody homeless people in the hallways on Saturday mornings? You’re in luck. The building is not secure like they claim. On top of finding random people in the building, you may find them in your unit. I’m on the first floor and have a door with outdoor access. There have been multiple times a stranger has either attempted to open that door, or peeped in through the glass.
Like the apartment, severely disappointed with the neighborhood, community and building itself.
Editing this a few months later to add that I have had 3 separate plumbing issues that have resulted in flooding in the 10 month I have lived in the building.
One from the master drain for the building backing up into my kitchen, causing water damage to cabinets and floors and causing risk for mold exposure. One from the toilet running uncontrollably and overflowing, was unable to get a hold of maintenance for HOURS due to the automated after hours system being unreachable. And most recently, a leaking pipe in the ceiling that caused a 2’x2’ section of my ceiling to collapse and the entire hallway carpet to be soaked. Again, exposing me to potential mold.
On site maintenance seems to only be able to offer patch fixed and excuses about the building being old.
