I lived here from 2023 to March 2025. South400 has all of the basic needs for an apartment complex but nothing more. For the most part, the inside of the apartments is safe and secure for a downtown apartment, but cars were constantly broken into in the garage. I don't think there was more than 15 consecutive days where the garage gate worked as intended. We had a leak in our apartment for the entire time we lived there. By the time we were leaving, they were finally doing work to the exterior roof to hopefully fix the issue. When we wanted to extend our lease for 14-15 months, we were told they only did 12-month leases. Three months later, our friend and neighbor got her lease renewed for 14 months. She also found out the person who moved into our old apartment was a leasing agent. It's very clear we got told no so they could give the apartment to their leasing staff. South400 is fine, but there are several other much better buildings all within walking distance. We fell in love with the neighborhood around South400 and that was the main reason we wanted to stay. Shout-out to Low Doubt and The Holly.

I love this building. It’s quiet and clean. I also want to give a big shoutout to Anna Lainez ! She’s always so helpful, friendly, and professional. Anytime I have a question or need assistance, she responds quickly and goes out of her way to make sure everything is taken care of. It’s clear she truly cares about the residents and keeps the community running smoothly. Her positive attitude and genuine kindness make such a difference — thank you, Anna, for all that you do!
