Griffis Blessing is a great company and they are really turning things around at the property. Maintenance is great fast responding and very good at communication!

Since the property was taken over by new ownership a few months ago, the experience here has drastically declined.
The current leasing office manager has created a very hostile environment for residents. Many tenants, including myself, have experienced bullying behavior and threats of eviction. She has openly discouraged residents from speaking to one another, stating that when we talk, we “don’t agree with her.” Several office employees have either quit or been terminated in a short period of time — one recent employee lasted less than two weeks before leaving.
On 2/16/2026, individuals entered my apartment without prior notice. When my daughter went to the office to ask about it, she was told no work had been ordered and that it was “not your apartment.” Moments later, the manager claimed that I had been notified by email. I was on speaker phone during this conversation and can confirm that I never received any notification. When I attempted to address this calmly, my daughter was told to leave the office and was threatened with police involvement under false claims that she was being threatening. To protect myself, I contacted the police and requested an escort back to my apartment to ensure there were no false accusations. The office was then locked, and residents needing assistance were turned away.
Additionally, there are serious pest control issues throughout the property, including reports of bed bugs in some buildings and roaches in others. My unit was treated, though there was confusion and conflicting information given by management about whether treatment had even occurred. The infestation has been severe enough that we cannot safely cook or use our microwave. We are now preparing to discard or store many of our belongings because we cannot risk bringing pests with us when we move.
This situation has been extremely distressing for my family. I would strongly encourage anyone considering moving here to thoroughly research the property and speak to current residents before signing a lease.
I do not wish this experience on anyone.

Iv lived here almost a year and I have had a nice time here so far. McKayla in the office is super sweet, was great to speak with and helped meet my needs. this place is fairly quiet and peaceful, there is a nice trail leading to the park on the other side of Wadsworth. lots of shopping and anything you could need is super close by. these units have wood burning fireplaces which is my favorite part. they are replacing all the windows and sliding glass doors soon so that's a bonus. Newer (i think) washer and dryers that actually work. I haven't had any issues with my neighbors, everyone is pretty chill and respectful. dog washing station is very useful also.

My experience with Sofi Belmar has been utterly disappointing. Upon reading spectacular reviews and hearing nothing but positive comments about Sofi, I immediately wanted a tour.
Originally, I drove around the complex and stopped at the leasing office to see if I could talk to a leasing agent and if lucky, have a same day walk-in tour. The office was empty and locked, with the "be back" time being 1pm .. it was almost 1:25pm. Initially, I shrugged it off and decided that was the sign to schedule a tour that week via their website.
I scheduled a tour for Sept 23 at 1:30pm and received a confirmation email and follow-up texts. It was a bit strange to see the website rely so heavily on AI with no public contact information available but I scored a tour regardless.
Fast forward a few (2-3) days to my appointment, I arrive early and briefly wait in my car before approaching the leasing office five minutes prior. The leasing office was once again locked, empty and had a "be back" time of 2pm. Despite my utter shock and disappointment, I waited a bit longer to see if anyone would come .. no one did.
I called two separate numbers that were listed for Sofi, leaving voicemails for both and a text message to the number that sent me scheduling information. Sofi Belmar quite literally ghosted me. I received no calls, no texts, no emails afterwards. Upon investigating, all remaining units on the website had been supposedly leased overnight.
I'm convinced that no one actually works in the leasing office and they have AI do all the work for them. As they clearly do not care for people who are interested in their complex, intentionally hiding their contact information behind AI and not bothering to simply mention there were no more units available, despite checking the website every day as a precaution.
