I really wanted to love this apartment because the views from the corner units are beautiful. However, after living here for over 1.5 years, it does not feel like a luxury building, especially considering the rent is over $5,500 per month. The construction quality is disappointing. The walls are very thin, the toilet flush is weak, and the ventless dryer takes multiple cycles just to dry clothes. It also cannot fit larger items like comforters. There is little to no ventilation in the bedrooms, and the bathroom fan is extremely weak and very loud. Maintenance told us there is not much they can do because of how the system was designed. The appliances and finishes also feel cheap for a building marketed as luxury. Don't even get me started on the black dust that come's from the AC ducts. We have to wipe down our furniture constantly or it will be covered in black soot and dust. Most recently, the building experienced a power outage that lasted 18+ hours. Unfortunately, the communication from management during this time was poorly handled. Instead of sending a formal email update to residents, the information was posted in the resident app. When residents began expressing concerns, the entire thread was deleted rather than addressed. Overall, for the price being charged, the building does not live up to the expectations of luxury living. I would recommend looking elsewhere before deciding to rent here.

Imagine paying $5,200 a month and experiencing this. On March 5th at 5:45 PM, the entire building lost power. As of 12 PM on March 6th, the power had still not been restored. During this time there was no electricity, no hot water, and residents had to throw away all the food in their refrigerators and freezers. Many units in this building have large glass windows that receive strong direct sunlight. Without power, the units quickly turned into sauna-like conditions during the day, making it extremely uncomfortable and difficult to stay inside. Without electricity there was also no Wi-Fi and no ability to charge phones or computers, which meant many residents could NOT work. For residents with babies or pets, this situation is even more concerning. What was most disappointing was the lack of clear communication or support from management during this situation. Residents were repeatedly told that the issue was “out of their control,” and there was no clear plan communicated to the building. Ironically, management appears to act very quickly when issuing $250 fines for things like vaping or bringing a dog to the rooftop. However, when residents are facing a building-wide emergency, the response feels very different. Several concierge staff who were friendly and helpful to residents have been dismissed, while others who treat residents poorly remain. This experience has been extremely disappointing. If you are considering living here, it is important to carefully evaluate the management of the building. Residents deserve better communication and support in situations like this.
