Property management team is kind but Greystar is the most horrible property management company I've ever experienced and theres a clear disconnect between local 601 Pax staff and Greystar corporate. Needed to break lease (job relocation) and in-office team said there might be a way they could be flexible with fees or payment timing. Got our hopes up for nothing because Greystar gave us no options, not even a sublease option. We ended up paying $8K to break the lease which was a very disorganized process on their end. We left the place spotless & sanitized and were still charged hundreds in move-out cleaning fees on top of the $8K to break the lease. We ended up paying in full and wanted to be done with it all, only to be sent a notice 4 months later that we have an outstanding balance of $91. We were sent a partial refund (minus cleaning fees) on our rental deposit back during move out and were never notified that we had leftover balances outside of this, so this is what drove me to write the review. Would never rent with Greystar again. Not to mention 601 Pax constantly had tenants breaking rules - pool parties on weeknights after hours, constant pool closures from glass being broken at said parties, people subleasing garages as living areas, trash and dog poop everywhere. It's priced lower than neighboring buildings but after living there, it wasn't worth the extra savings.
