Best apartment complex I’ve stayed at so far in Phoenix. Tara, Emily, Vanessa, and Laurel are the coolest people that have helped so much. Apartment complex amenities are top tier and the maintenance team also does a quick job anytime you need help. 10/10 apartment.

I recently moved into the Maeve at Central Station and I have to say, it’s been a fantastic experience. Vanessa and the leasing team were truly professional from day one, they made the whole process smooth and welcoming. Every cost was clearly explained upfront, and no hidden fees. Move-in day went off without a hitch thanks to their support. The apartments are gorgeous, spacious, spotlessly clean, and brand new. It’s easily the best rental value I’ve seen with in Phoenix Downtown area with really competitive pricing. Plus, the underground parking (complete with electric car charging), on site security, and all the amenities are excellent. The location is fantastic with access to the metro . Huge thanks to the team!

My girlfriend and I recently toured this apartment complex after reading some online reviews, and one in particular stuck out: it warned to pay close attention to the amount of bus stops and the homelessness issues surrounding the building. I figured I’d keep an eye out, but it’s literally everywhere.
Right from the moment I arrived, the number of bus stops jumped out at me, there were a lot of bus stops around the property, with one planted literally right in front of the lobby entrance. It felt chaotic, like a constant hub of activity that didn’t scream “peaceful living.” Then, stepping inside for the tour, I noticed the lobby door was completely unlocked. No key fob, no buzzer system, nothing. Given the visible homelessness in the area people camped out nearby and a steady flow of foot traffic from those bus stops it just didn’t make sense. Why wouldn’t they prioritize basic security like locking the main entrance? It gave me the impression that management isn’t too concerned about resident safety, which is a huge red flag for me.
The apartments themselves looked nice on the inside—modern finishes, decent layouts, and good natural light. But that couldn’t outweigh the vibe outside. The surroundings felt unsafe. I wouldn’t feel comfortable coming home late or walking my dog around here. (NO DOG PARK) Overall, I’d skip this place unless they address the security and environmental issues. Also to put in consideration that the neighboring building shares the pool with Anova Central station which is kind of weird because I’m sure people from the neighboring building come into the Maeve and use their gym and not just the pool and will eventually use their club house. when there’s may be a little jammed up. I don’t get how the Maeve central station is more expensive but yet the neighboring building can come over and use our amenities.

I may regret signing a lease here without doing my research (FOR THE MAVEVE CENTRAL STATION) , and I don’t want anyone else to make the same mistake. This place is a nightmare when it comes to safety, maintenance, and overall livability. Let me break it down based on my experience living here.
First off, the lack of security is absolutely unbelievable. The building is surrounded by homeless individuals, many of whom appear to be struggling with mental illness or drug addiction. They’re constantly loitering around the entire property, asking for money, screaming randomly, or even getting into fights right outside. The apartment is right next to a public park where a lot of them sleep and hang out all day, which just amplifies the issue. There are bus stops at every corner of the building, and while plenty of good, everyday people use public transport, these spots have become magnets for the same groups. Security can’t do much because anyone can claim they’re “waiting for the bus,” and one stop in particular is basically a free-for-all hangout zone with clusters of people just standing around indefinitely.
It’s also dog-friendly, which sounded great at first, but there’s no on-site dog park. That means you have to take your pup to the nearby public park—the same one overrun with homeless folks. Not exactly a relaxing or safe spot for a walk. And with two train stations nearby, the area feels even more transient and chaotic.
Maintenance is a whole other disaster. The main door to the building hasn’t been reliably working for about two weeks now. It opens sometimes, but often doesn’t, forcing me to detour through a neighboring building, take the elevator down, cross the parking garage, and access it from there. Imagine doing this at 9 PM in the dark—super inconvenient and sketchy. Instead of fixing it promptly, management just left the door unlocked all night long! That means literally anyone from the street could (and probably does) wander in. Security mostly patrols outside; they’re never inside the buildings where it matters the most in my opinion and from my past experience living in sky rises security is always in the lobby.
Once you’re in the lobby, there’s zero control. You can hit the elevator button and go to any floor without a key fob or anything. Common areas stay unlocked until pool hours end, and the main building door is open until the leasing office closes—even though the agents aren’t always at the desk. I’ve seen homeless people just chilling in the lobby like it’s a public lounge because no one’s there to stop them, and the doors are unlocked! I don’t get why the doors stay unlocked during office hours. This is the first place I’ve seen that does this. . There was even a time when the elevators completely crapped out, and I had to hike down to the first floor on foot. No heads-up, no timeline for fixes—nothing.
Communication from management is nonexistent. In my previous high-rise, they’d blast out emails right away about any issues, like broken elevators or doors, and give updates on resolutions. Here? Radio silence. No emails about the main door, the elevators, or anything else. It feels like there’s zero urgency or care for residents’ safety and convenience. Also, the Wi-Fi is absolutely outrageous and very slow Netflix takes a while to load as any other show. This needs to be resolved!!
This place is ridiculous and desperately needs an overhaul in security, maintenance, and basic resident communication. Do your due diligence—read reviews, visit at different times of day (especially evening). I wish I had.

Emily was great. I had her full attention and interest the entire tour and she had insight on everything I was curious about. Beautiful building and kind team.
