The Met is a fantastic place I can call home. Living in the heart of downtown phoenix has its ups and downs. However, with the help of the office staff Waylon and Crystal the community feels like home!

Don’t let the incoming resident reviews fool you. Greystar is desperate to get you to sign on before the reality comes out. UPDATE: After this was posted, the leasing office contacted me to help resolve this despite telling me in July they were unable to assist and I needed to go to corporate. That was two months ago, and I am still waiting for resolution despite agreeing to what was offered as a solution. At the end of November I was told the leasing office needed to confirm one thing with corporate and would let me know, and I am still waiting for this. Screenshots of calls and voicemails included for date references. I don’t appreciate the performative response online when I have been trying to resolve this since July. I lived here for 3 years and would strongly advise against it: • Amenities. They closed the pool in peak season. Parking for guests is a nightmare. The gym has had busted equipment for the 3 years I lived here. They falsely advertised a broken hot tub for 2.5 of those 3 years. • Excessive fees. Constantly adding fees throughout my tenure. Move-out charges are outrageous and unsubstantiated including Greystar altering documentation after the fact. With two months of non-response to emails • Maintenance issues. I experienced a serious mold and water leak problem that persisted for more than a month before it was properly addressed. • Security. The gate code never changed the entire time, and many interesting individuals linger in this area. • Aging building. This complex is many decades old so expect issues with that such as finishings, conditions, termites, and other critters, but don’t worry Greystar will attempt to charge unit upgrades on your dime when you move out. Greystar and this property show a lack of good faith in how they treat residents or sincere effort to communicate and resolve issues. If walking to ASU is the only thing that matters to you, this complex might work, but even then, there are better options in the same area. Edited to add pictures at move out of the apartment they charged $350 of cleaning fees on when I mopped my way out of the unit.
