I have submitted 3 maintenance requests to fix my leaking AC and have only been sent a general maintenance person that has just been guessing at the issue instead of an HVAC professional. It is very inconvenient and have had to have a bucket under the AC at all times.

Takara was so sweet and helpful. During my tour she showed me every unit I asked about and was patient as we moved between units located in phase I and phase II because I was pretty indecisive (and didn't think to take pics/video so I could remember them later 🤦♀️). The property manager was also very helpful when I came by a second day to view units. The amenities look great. There is no valet trash which was pretty much a selling point for me lol. The application process went smoothly and I am looking forward to moving in...

Me and my fiancé have only just moved into our beautiful apartment and all I can say is wow it’s like living in a luxury hotel so modern, so beautiful. there were a few hiccups here and there but the staff are so sweet and amazing and they see a problem and fix it immediately. there were no major issues just little things that the construction workers forgot to do as this is a brand new building and even at like almost one in the morning, I had maintenance come up and fix my issues almost immediately she was so nice and I was very impressed with the service. If anybody is looking for an apartment, that is luxurious modern with convenience And an amazing staff I highly recommend union @ Roosevelt.

I usually don’t write reviews, which is crazy because I rely on the reviews of others on things I am interested in purchasing/experiencing. I couldn’t have been more impressed and pleased by not just the property, but of the staff, specifically Tacara (I hope I spelled her name correctly). She went above and beyond to not only answer my questions, but showing me the property and being completely transparent. So much in fact, that I am in the process of terminating my lease at my other apartment, and getting the process started to move in asap. If you are currently looking for a place that is affordable, nice, great area to walk in, activities to do, and the downtown experience, I implore you to go see Tacara immediately and take a look at this property. I can’t say thank you enough Union and specifically Tacara and her supervisor who also helped answering the many questions I had.

Pros: The apartment itself is really nice with large balconies. The location is great if you want to be in the heart of the Roosevelt District without being in the middle of First Fridays. Our maintenance team is always helpful and prompt.
Cons: Rent prices are going down in Phoenix, but yet U@R is still increasing. We have no amenities, never ending construction, and they just doubled our utility bills and added monthly fees. We used to have monthly community gatherings, but now are sporadic at best. The one "amenity" is a courtyard that we haven't been able to use for over a year because of construction. If you live facing north or east, you hear all the street noise. If you face south, you have ZERO view (thanks to the new buildings).
When I moved here in 2021, it was such a great community. Our property manager regularly communicated with us, we had monthly social events, and she made this place feel like a true home. She even used to deliver nice little holiday gifts each year - nothing fancy, but very thoughtful. Now, everything is about "what corporate feels is best" - which means more expenses to the renters, more inconvenience, and zero recourse. Shrinkflation is real at U@R - we're paying more and getting less.
