Me and my wife have lived at ico mayfield for 2 years. Our second year here we started having our smoke detectors go off at random times mostly in the middle of the night. They came out and replaced them twice and still having the issue persist. This sadly has been the cycle for the past 8 months. We narrowed down that its an electrical fault as the indicator on the smoke detector itself reads. Weve since asked the fire department to come out and confirm this since Maintenance seems to only replace the smoke detector. They claim they are sensitive and will go off from dust and steam nearby however this is in the middle of the night when ppl are sleeping and the smoke detectors themselves do not indicate a fire. They indicate an electric fault. Hopefully this post gets them over to fix this issue so we can finally have a full night sleep as these have been going off 1-4 times a night since April 2025. Save yourself the headache and live somewhere that they actually care about there tenants lives cuz they certainly havent cared about ours.

I’ve lived at ICO Mayfield for about 3 months now. The staff are amazing, work orders get fulfilled in a timely manner, the apartments are spacious, and the amenities are great! I’ve loved living here. My only complaint is the amount of large spiders in the stairwells and on the patios. Commercial pest control or routine cobweb removal would be appreciated.
