It’s not a coincidence that all of the recent positive reviews are so close together. Management asked residents to add good reviews to cover, and make up for, the negative ones from before. Even offering compensation for it. As one such resident, I’ll say honestly, it’s not the worst place I’ve lived, but I would never recommend it. The unit was nice, and other than maintenance gaslighting me every time I needed something fixed, I enjoyed my time there. My closet shelf was pulling out of the drywall when I moved in, and when I asked for repair, they told me it had a 40lb weight limit, and I had too much on it. Mind you, it’s an 8FT closet, in a studio with no other storage. Not really sure where else they expect you to keep anything. They eventually added two supports after I insisted, and received help from a leasing agent John, who seems to no longer work for them. He was consistently the only good person I met that worked here. I also had to use an exacto to cut out the ac port courtesy of the “landlord special” I’m sure. The “heater” is a tiny coil and fan near the floor facing towards neither of the main living spaces, and provided no heat whatsoever. All of my plants died over the winter and I had to buy a space heater and face it towards my bed to sleep. All of that I forgave. The real issue came when I moved out. Mayia Reed, the assistant property manager, attempted to steal $340 of my $400 deposit for “repairs and sanitation” I left no damage, past nail holes from hanging artwork, and swept, mopped, and sanitized all surfaces before leaving. I wrote a letter the Giant Road LLC (the actual holding landlord) and since, have received my full deposit back. My advice? Rent elsewhere. And if you do choose to rent here, TAKE. PHOTOS. When you move in, AND when you leave.
