We have only toured the Payton - will hopefully be able to experience it as residents soon :) - but I felt compelled to share a review here. My husband & I have toured quite a few buildings in Portland, and this blew all others out of the water. The thoughtful design and quality construction really come through at every step, with quite a few amenities that never expected. The residences are spacious and seem actually meant for living, with none of the cookie-cutter feeling that we've gotten in other buildings. Outdoor spaces are also gorgeous. We also really appreciated Jeff's insight and honesty throughout the tour, which helped us feel confident in building management and our experience as residents. The super central location is also a huge plus. It was wonderful to be so pleasantly surprised and delighted by a building - if you're looking for a HOME and not just a glorified dorm room, I'd highly recommend looking at the Payton.

I assisted my son in moving in to the Payton, and it couldn't have been easier, more efficient and pleasant. We had ordered several large packages to be delivered prior to move-in, and since the unit was available, the management and staff brought all of the boxes directly to the unit. The tour, information packages and onboarding were all seamless, informative and receptive. The unit was extremely clean, and everything was in order. The overall experience felt welcoming, professional and personal. We can't recommend this building and its staff highly enough!!

The Payton's units are stunning, and my wife and I are so impressed with the leasing team. Jeff is so attentive, and we feel like all of our questions or concerns have been resolved. If you can manage it, the south facing units area ideal. The view over I-84 is so invigorating, and thanks to the condo-grade build quality, the units are unbelievably sound proof.

This is the best apartment building in Portland!! The units are gorgeous all the way down to the appliances, including a fabulous Mountain View if you plan strategically. A one bedroom was plenty of space for a couple and was surprisingly affordable when compared to nearby apartments, especially for its outstanding quality. We will miss Luis, one of the maintenance staff! He was always so helpful, kind, and prompt. The entire staff and other tenants are generally quite friendly. The only downside is that parking is a bit expensive, but it was worth it considering the neighborhood and convenience.

I’ve spent a lot of time at The Peyton visiting close friends, and it’s honestly one of the nicest apartment buildings I’ve been to in Portland. It’s always super clean, and the lobby has a cozy, welcoming vibe—with a coffee machine that’s a great little perk. The building feels very safe and secure, which is something I always notice and appreciate. We usually meet up in the community room for small get-togethers or events—it’s such a convenient spot to hang out. Inside the apartments, the big windows let in tons of natural light, which makes it a perfect place to relax or read. Even as a guest, it’s easy to feel at home there. Definitely a great place to live or visit.
