Before you sign a lease here, exercise extreme caution. In preparation for a planned cleaning inspection, we thoroughly cleaned our apartment. In less than a minute, an inspector arrived, said there was a problem that didn't exist, and failed our cleaning check, costing us money. This has now happened twice. When we first questioned the inspection, we were informed that someone would be back to review the unit. There were several attempts to follow up, but nobody ever returned. Now it's occurring once more: a quick examination, an imaginary problem, and an additional charge. In addition to the high cost of this complex, the regulations are quite strict and irregularly enforced. It seems more like a means of getting more money from tenants than a real inspection procedure. I strongly advise exploring elsewhere before agreeing to a lease here if you value management's accountability, openness, and fair treatment.
