I am beyond frustrated and extremely disappointed with this experience — especially after being a loyal Metro customer for over 8 years. I have more than four lines on my account and have always considered this my favorite store. I even attended the grand opening because I genuinely wanted to support this location. We went in to purchase a simple flip phone. Aldain repeatedly pressured us into buying a more high-tech smartphone instead, even though we were clear about what we wanted. We trusted his recommendation, and it turned out to be the wrong choice. I later found out the reason he did not want to sell us the flip phone was because they did not have any in stock, and selling that option would not have earned commission. That is incredibly disappointing and feels misleading. Metro has a 14-day return policy, so I returned within 8 days. I was made to wait 1 hour and 25 minutes. After that long wait, Aldain said he didn’t know how to process the return and needed to call his boss — who he said was at Disney — and that we would just have to wait to see if he could help. When I asked him to at least cancel the line that was added, he told me I would have to call Metro myself because he “couldn’t help.” In order to return the phone he offered a solution where they would refund only $80 — even though I paid $180 — and they would still need to inspect the phone and potentially deduct more from that $80 if they found anything wrong. That is unacceptable. After years of loyalty, multiple lines, and consistently choosing this store, this level of service is incredibly disappointing. I wasted over an hour of my time and left without resolution. Do not go to this store to purchase phones.
