I had an incredibly positive experience at The Mod at Riverwalk on Feb 3rd as I received a comprehensive tour from Emma, the leasing consultant at the property. I felt compelled to leave this review based on how knowledgeable, professional, helpful, and passionate she was in giving me a tour of the facility. She had an overwhelming positive attitude with excited energy that was refreshing and uplifting, so I want to say thank you to Emma for being so great at what you do even though you're new! :) Unfortunately, the spaces were a bit smaller than I am looking for, but if you're wanting a cozy studio apartment right in the heart of downtown next to the river, then I would highly recommend checking this place out!

I was initially hesitant to visit after reading some of the older reviews, but I’m so glad I decided to give this place a chance. The community is now under new management, and the leasing office team was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful throughout the entire leasing process. I couldn’t be happier as a new resident!

I’ve gotten great communication from management and quick turnaround times on needs, I appreciate the events held so far while I’ve stayed here and gotten to meet a couple of my neighbors at such. There’s a huge open community space that has a lot of sun exposure, I think it would be nice if residents could share a gardening space there and also hold a constituent meeting with the Ward 1 representative, given how close we are to the center of Reno and how many residents live here^-^

My wife and I moved in on September 1st with high hopes, but unfortunately, our experience at this apartment complex has been far from satisfactory. We expected a clean, well-prepared, and move-in-ready apartment on the agreed-upon date. However, upon our arrival, we were met with several disappointments that have made our stay here less than ideal. To begin with, numerous things were broken, dirty, or malfunctioning in our apartment. While we understood that minor issues can happen during a move-in, the sheer number of problems we encountered was overwhelming. Given that it's a studio apartment, one would expect it to be the easiest to prepare for occupancy, yet it felt like there were countless issues to address. Here are some specific details to illustrate our experience: The built-in fixtures in our apartment had significant issues, with one of the doors barely hanging onto its hinges. We had to be extremely cautious when closing it to prevent it from falling off completely. The refrigerator was missing a foot, causing it to tip off balance regularly. As a result, our food and water purifier often spilled, leading to unnecessary mess and wasted groceries. The bathtub was clogged to the point that even a simple shower caused the previous resident's debris and hair to rise from the drain. I promptly reported this issue to the manager, Maddy, stressing its urgency, as personal hygiene is essential. Despite raising multiple requests on the day of our move-in, nothing was addressed during the entire week that followed. I finally called the management office to emphasize the drain situation once more. While Maddy did offer to provide us with drain cleaner, it was disheartening that we were essentially left to handle the problem ourselves. She did purchase the drain cleaner for us, which we appreciated to some extent, but it was clear that our pleas for urgent assistance had not been taken seriously. The drain cleaner did help improve the situation slightly for our showers, but the problem persisted whenever we attempted to take a bath, as it would fill up with hair and debris from the previous resident. This recurring issue has been nothing short of disgusting and unacceptable. While I had initially refrained from posting this review, hoping that the management's goodwill gesture would lead to improvements, I have decided to share our experience as it stands. Our stay here has been marred by a lack of timely maintenance and subpar living conditions. I believe it's important for prospective residents to be aware of these issues before making the decision to live here. I will provide a more comprehensive review in the near future to further elucidate why this apartment complex may not be the best choice for your hard-earned money. More photos to come. There’s always something new to discover in the riverside district. Summer is full of events and activities within walking distance! Fall is a beautiful time to walk along the river while winter can become a beautiful wonderland on the river. The neighborhood is amazing and the management is even better. Would highly recommend to friends and families. My dog loves his little life on the river and so do I! Great way to introduce yourself to The Biggest Little City!
