Lived in this complex several years ago. Made them aware of rats in the attic keeping me up every night running through piles of rat feces that would scatter. I could hear them in the air vents.They gas lit me for an entire year until we had our walk through and I showed the manager the light fixtures that clearly had rat droppings in them. They do not make repairs and the "upgrades" are just paint.

towed my registered car because it didn’t have the updated sticker on it instead of reaching out and asking (they took all of our license plate numbers when moving in so they have access to see who’s car it is). has continuously overcharged us for “not having renters insurance” despite all of us having uploaded the info on the app and the app tells us we’re covered. two days before moving in last year AFTER THE LEASE WAS SIGNED they told us they weren’t going to have cabinet doors ready for us and it took another FIVE MONTHS to get them on. they still don’t have handles and we are still missing the ones in the bathroom and some of the ones in the kitchen. we have put in multiple work orders and they haven’t come in but if we talk to them about it they tell us to put a work order in. when we do put in work orders like when every outlet in my room stopped working, they took over a month to fix it and FOUR SEPARATE TIMES never showed up on the day they told us they would, and would show up on a different day and say nobody answered so they couldn’t complete the work order. never offered compensation for any of that. They are disorganized and frankly disappointing. would not recommend this place AT ALL

Our patio was boarded up for 4 months. Limited lighting and there was no reduction in rent offered until I asked since it was taking a while. Our bathroom was leaking for years and they decided to replace the shower as we were moving out. Our patio was still boarded when we left and we had items on the patio/patio closet. The apartment manager stated that once the patio was fixed, he would let us know to come retrieve our items. We never received a callback and those items are probably long gone. Gates regularly broken and cars broken into. It was common to see broken glass from car doors on the street. Both my roommate and I had our cars broken into, and I had to clean the glass off the street myself since maintenance was busy. Maintenence was always polite and hardworking, but understaffed, so I can't blame them. Shout out to them because they would always say hello if I walked past them and we had some cool convos. Communication from management was either ignoring tenants or contradictory. He would tell me in person one thing and would write/email the opposite. I even pointed this out to him, but he refused to correct it. Edit: Since this review it's been confirmed items are gone. Notice in their response they didn't mention it.

Don’t expect your concerns as a resident to get taken seriously. P poor management and assuredly not up to code. Darlene mentions the new siding, when the sides are off you can see that the interior of the walls is rotted through. Jet black in most places and moldy. Rather than replace the old moldy insulation it was zipped back up under new siding. My windows were re done and pounds of rat excrement were falling out of the wall where the windows. Unreal. On site management is problematic in that they involve them selves with resident issues. My roommates came to him to “vote” me off the lease. He explained you can’t vote somebody off the lease but restraining orders would kick somebody out…. without knowing any reason for a restraining order he may suggest it to your roommates to get them off his back. Be careful here the management and residents are predatory kind of people. Finally as poorly managed as the EXPENSIVE “upgrades” (replace the redwood with fence post, nice y’all) are, there has been no fault with the workers or geoundskeeping staff. They are true professionals and always respectful… management could and should take notes on that
