The deterioration of this building since I moved in over a year ago is disappointing. Dirty windows, stained carpeting in the hallways, elevators, and common areas, and a high traffic stairwell that is absolutely filthy with dog hair and urine & fecal stains on the cement and carpeting. It’s pretty gross. Animals are welcomed here, but not very well cleaned up after. I reached out to our Asset Living property management office via email over 4 months ago regarding these issues, but sadly nothing has improved. A few weeks ago there was water leaking from the garage ceiling but I couldn’t find anyone on property to alert. The office was open but empty, and no one was answering the office phone so I left a voicemail. I never heard anything back.

Edit: Thanks for addressing each issue, we did bring in one of the tools found underneath my car, as well as told you exactly what was stolen from us. I’m glad you reached out to security, because when I did, I was told that they had other apartments they needed to be at instead, but you’re aware of that given that we spoke to you about it and how that also raised safety concerns. Additionally, we are not willing to risk our dogs health due to unclean restroom conditions :) We moved into Regius Square in November and it has been quite unpleasant. To start, stuff was stolen from us and tools were found under my car. When we went to talk to Kaylee, I suggested installing cameras in the parking garage due to safety concerns and was told that they couldn’t really do anything about it, to not get our hopes up about cameras being installed, and that they wouldn’t look into our stuff getting stolen or the tools under my car until a police report was filed. I was also told that I shouldn’t feel unsafe because our apartment complex is located in a “relatively safe area,” even though there were tools under my car and stuff was stolen from us on the same day. Additionally, when touring and signing our lease, we were told our rent would be $1,650 plus utilities. We actually end up paying $2,400 a month, including paying for our own units power, as well as the whole buildings. We noticed that rent had actually gone down for apartments located on higher floors than us, so when we asked if our rent could be lowered as well, we were told rent had already gone back up, which is untrue. The unit on the floor above is $1,550 a month at the moment. We also pay for a dog run, but it’s so gross due to people not cleaning up after their pets, that we had to put a piece of fake grass on our patio for our puppy to use, which we were then told we weren’t aloud to have, even though the dog run is pretty much a health hazard to our dog. The last thing I would like to add is that packages are stolen or seen opened on the mailroom floor quite often.

To add onto my rushed review I feel many things that are said by the staff at regius square are blatant lies. There has been many times where a false kind front is put on by the staff to try and charm residents. I’ve seen multiple things stolen from the mail room as well as from the parking garage. I brought this to the attention of the property manager and the security team with no help from either. The security company blew me off by saying that they had other places to be and that they couldn’t ramp security up at our building.

Also post update after moving out: tons of unexpected changes and it was very unpleasant. I saw someone else had this experience and I appreciated how they edited their review. I wanted to do the same I think this place is so cute! They have tons of fun events they do every month, it always smells so yummy and clean! The staff is great and super friendly. The layout is super fun and unique. In a good way. Love it here. They have grills on sight, a mini rock climbing wall outside, a little dog park area and a nice gym as well. There's also a cool dog wash area and storage lockers you can rent as well as a salon!

UPDATE: Post move-out was a shocking experience. It was surprising to see some charges which were never discussed/mentioned. I was assured that except cleaning charges, there won't be anything else, and all the dues are paid prior to move out. But, to my surprise there were charges from June/July added up in Sepetember. Also, Kori promised a gift card which was never handed over even after multiple follow-ups. Thank you Jose, for making sure the move-out is simple and easy. I've been living in a one bedroom apartment at Regius Square for the past six months, and I've been really happy with my experience. The apartment is located in a great area of Salt Lake City, close to downtown and all the major attractions. The gym is top-notch, with state-of-the-art equipment and plenty of space to work out. The BBQ area is a great place to relax and have a cookout with friends. And the carriage and lounge areas are perfect for getting some work done or just hanging out. Here are some of the things I love about living at Regius Square: The location is perfect. I'm just a short walk from downtown, and I can easily get to all the major attractions. The apartment is spacious and well-appointed. I have everything I need, and the apartment is decorated in a modern style. The amenities are amazing. The gym is great, the BBQ area is perfect for entertaining, and the carriage and lounge areas are great for relaxing. The staff is friendly and helpful. They're always willing to go the extra mile to help me out. I especially want to mention Property Manager Kori and Maintenance Manager Jose. They are both incredibly helpful and always go above and beyond to make sure my needs are met. Kori is always quick to respond to my emails and phone calls, and she always makes sure to follow up to make sure everything is resolved. Jose is always available to fix any problems I have with my apartment, and he always does a great job. Overall, I'm really happy with my decision to live at Regius Square. It's a great place to live, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an apartment in Salt Lake City.
