My kids moved in here. The landlord lives on the property and is very nosey. She checks the pool cameras and talks through it a few minutes before 10. We thought that was creepy. The walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbor opening their balcony door. Before you sign a lease see who your neighbors are, it feels like you live in an elderly community. The location is amazing.

Anna and her team are very nice. She is very responsive to your needs and requests and is very accessible. We love our amenities the jacuzzi, pool are always hot and ready for a swim. The grounds are clean and tidy. The apartments have a lot of space and have been rennovated. You can walk to the Library, 5 different local restaurants and of course Cowles Moutain. We love it here. The comment about the noise is unfortunately true. But management tries to keep it to a minimum if you let her know she will intervene and help. Thanks Anna for keeping the Vue a great place to live in San Diego.

If you like peace and quiet this property may not be ideal. The walls are paper thin. Nothing else matters when the apartment you pay top dollar for is not a place where you can lay your head peacefully at night. Granted most nights are quiet, but if anyone decides to have a party or an argument or a dog running around you will hear it all.

Be prepared to have your water shut off twice a month, due to the constant slab leaks. When you move out expect not to receive your deposit, or any deposit that's left, at least a month or two prior to your moving out date. Stay away stay away

Positives: Nice pool, hot tub, club house, landscaping. Walking distance to library, a couple of restaurants, within boundaries of a top elementary school. Negatives: Water is shut off often for "maintenance". Buildings are older, plumbing is in the foundation, so they have to break open the lower level's floor to make repairs. The internal wiring is very old, so no matter what communications company you choose, you are likely to have service issues. Cell phone reception is spotty at best. Stackable washers and dryers in the "upgraded" units are cheap/poor quality. The handymen on site are responsible for fixing everything, including welding, plumbing, everything on a seemingly shoestring budget. In other words, it takes a very long time for repairs to get done and ultimately they are not repaired correctly. A couple of the long term residents dislike children and make it very uncomfortable for families to live there. Upper management is clueless to the issues that go on in the complex. You get the feeling all that matters to this management company is money, not the quality of life for the residents.
