Luxury units meets "dorm-style" community habits Pros: * High-End Appliances: The unit itself is fantastic. It features premium utilities, including a gas range and a high-capacity washer/dryer. * Amenities & Location: The gym and common areas are top-tier. Plus, being walking distance to University Village (QFC, Apple Store, Chipotle) is a massive convenience. * Responsive Maintenance: Management is quick to act. When my AC went out, the service team had it fixed immediately. Cons: * Community Etiquette: There is a recurring issue with "immature" behavior in shared spaces. The mailroom is often cluttered with un-collapsed shipping boxes, and the community room is sometimes left messy with leftover food and alcohol bottles. * Maintenance of Common Areas: While the unit maintenance is great, the building upkeep can lag. I’ve seen broken glass on equipment and frames left for too long, and the parking lot elevators occasionally suffer from persistent odors (smells like rotten milk...) and overflowing bins. * The Trash Situation: This is the biggest drawback. Trash chute is out of service, so you are 100% dependent on the valet service. Unfortunately, many residents ignore the "no trash on weekends" rule, leading to bags sitting in the hallways for days. Summary: Your individual unit and the surrounding neighborhood are perfect, but the "in-between" spaces may suffer from a lack of community courtesy.
