If you’re looking for a place to live, you’ll be better off choosing literally anywhere other than here. When we had our first tour no one showed up to meet us and we had to leave after coming all the way to Seattle. We decided to still try to lease a unit here and it was impossible to get ahold of anyone to ask any questions, when you could they didn’t know what they were talking about. We were offered certain concessions and after we had already paid the application fee and half the security deposit, they told us they were no longer possible. When we had to change our guarantor, they took this as an opportunity to raise the rent by almost 500 dollars claiming we “rejected” the lease after telling us it would be no problem for our other guarantor to sign instead. They didn’t answer our calls for almost a week, not telling us the rent had changed until the last minute while being incredibly rude. It seemed to us like they were intentionally trying to make it impossible for us to live there. A month later, I still haven’t received my security deposit back and we’ve been ghosted by the management company. Specifically, the main manager, Ty, was extremely unhelpful and rude while claiming he had no control over anything despite him owning the startup that manages the building. I’m now filing a tenant complaint with the city so hopefully they won’t continue doing this to other young students. Overall, a ridiculously overcomplicated process and huge waste of time, money and energy. Update: Still haven't received security deposit back and had to mail an official demand form threatening legal action
