If you are new to Eastlake or looking to make the move to Eastlake, I highly recommend Illumina Apartments. I had stayed there for two years before moving out of the state. What truly sets this place apart is the management and maintenance team. They are professional, responsive, and proactive—issues are addressed quickly, communication is clear, and you always feel valued as a resident. It’s rare to find a team that operates with this level of consistency and respect, especially with the number of tenants in the complex. If you’re looking for a place that delivers on quality, comfort, and community at a higher level, this is it. I would wholeheartedly recommend Illumina to anyone seeking a new apartment to live in.

My experience here has been exceptional, even though I've been a resident for a short time. The renovations to my unit have been top-notch and the convenience of an in-unit washer and dryer is a major perk. The view from the roof-top is amazing. What truly sets this place apart is the management team, especially Amber. She was so helpful during the move-in process, answering all my questions and making sure I was settled in. My little dog and I are thrilled to be here.

Across all the different apartments i have had, i have never had someone on site be as helpful as Amber. What maintenance requests i’ve had (though there’ve been few) have been handled very fast, and the building has always been clean and cozy. Wonderful view from the rooftop, and perfect for viewing any of the various events over lake union (i.e. fireworks etc.). Though the building is right by the freeway, i’ve never had problems with noise. The walls are thick and i only really hear anything with the window open, i almost cant even tell that i have neighbors. Even with the window open, the freeway is more white noise than anything. The neighborhood itself is lovely, with some great little coffee shops, corner stores, and in the past few years its developed more and more. The biggest plus i can really say though is that i’ve just had no issues here, its such an easy place to renew at when i know that my packages get handled promptly, maintenance is fast, Amber is friendly and helpful, and the price is so affordable. 10/10

Lovely place to live, couldn't have asked for a better first home when living in Seattle. The neighborhood feels like a hidden gem and you are centrally located next to so many great spots. The property manager Amber is helpful, accommodating, going above and beyond to help tenants. Hardly had any issues with the building and the view is amazing! Safe neighborhood and good food options nearby. I will miss this place and Amber a lot as I move to a different neighborhood.

Illumina lake union offers a serene view of the eastlake, walking distance from the waterbody and the ecstatic view of the sea of cruises and seaplanes! An amazing apartment complex in a one of a kind area.The rooftop is a showstopper which keeps changing its moods according to the seasons of Seattle, all sorts of activity i.e., foosball, brick building, sandbag toss game, bbq grills, refrigerator, you name it and its there! A one of a kind hangout with a mind-blowing view of Seattle. Common areas are always clean,and any repair related complaints are addressed almost immediately. P.s. A marvelous manager Ms. Amber hosts social gatherings and outings and brings together the entire apartment!
