I moved into an MFTE one-bedroom apartment at REO Flats in October 2024 and have had a very positive experience overall. I initially planned to move after my 12-month lease to save on rent, but I’ve since decided to stay and transfer into a studio — that’s how much I’ve enjoyed living here. The highlight of my experience has been the outstanding support from Savannah, the Assistant Property Manager. From the very beginning, when I first applied for my one-bedroom apartment, Savannah was extremely communicative and helpful, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. More recently, when I decided to transfer to a more affordable studio, Savannah once again went above and beyond to assist me quickly and with genuine care. The building itself is clean, modern, and well-maintained. The small fitness room is perfect for quick workouts, and the rooftop deck offers beautiful views of the downtown Seattle skyline. Common areas are generally well-kept, and maintenance requests are handled promptly. There are occasional issues with people sleeping in the stairwell that connects to the street, but management handles these situations professionally and without any major incidents. Trash rooms can sometimes get a bit full when the chutes are locked, but overall, the property is well-cared for and feels like a comfortable, safe place to live. I’d definitely recommend REO Flats to anyone looking for a great apartment experience in Seattle, especially for those applying through the MFTE program.

I used live here, and wanted to leave a review for one of the maintenance guys, Bradley. On top of being thorough with his work, he was just the nicest person. He was mindful of being clean while he was there, and he even came back to check up on the issue before he left for the day. Every apartment building seriously needs a maintenance guy like Brad!

Love this place! I've lived here for two years and have had zero issues. Savannah and the team do a great job! The key-less entry both into the building and keypad into the apartment is super handy. The rooftop is a great place to chill and soak up the summer sun! It's also located around some really great restaurants and coffee shops :)

Over the years, we’ve seen lots of improvements to the communal areas and building amenities, including modernized entry systems. REO also hosts rooftop and lobby events a few times a year, which really helps foster a sense of community. The location is unbeatable—convenient, walkable, and full of shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. You can easily stroll down to Pike Place Market in about 20 minutes, and if you’re tired on the way back, just hop on a scooter or the light rail. All in all, we love being part of the REO community and highly recommend taking a tour and exploring the neighborhood. And a special shout-out to Savanah—she’s a legend and truly the glue that holds the building community together!

Loved my experience touring REO Flats! I looked at an apartment here and the apartments were stunning. Savannah took me on the tour and she was one of the most welcoming, friendly and helpful people I have ever met! After knowing they have a somebody like that staffed as a property manager, this put the apartments at the top of my list for where I will be wanting to move next!
