Gorgeous building with super high end features and amenities. The front desk staff always greet you in a welcoming way. However, the standout star is the building manager, Alex Thomason. He goes above and beyond in all aspects and you can feel confident as a resident that he’ll do whatever it takes to make this place feel like home. Thank you, Alex!

I love my building!!!!
I've been in the building for 2+ years and it just keeps getting better and better!!!!
From the lovely concierge team the my fantastic home I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
Micheal has been so helpful since the day I toured the property years ago!
Alex is by far the best property manager I've ever worked with he's constantly bettering the building.
If you're looking to move I highly recommend this building.

I have lived in this apartment complex for about a month now and I truly love my experience so far. The process from start to move-in was very smooth. Katie was my leasing agent and she was amazing to work with. She was very responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and I felt supported the whole time. She is also very kind and easy to talk to.
The amenities are great and the concierge team is very friendly and helpful.

I’ve lived at The Ayer for about a year now, and the design and finishes are what drew me in. I’m genuinely happy to call it home. I can’t speak for other reviews, but I’ve lived in several downtown Seattle towers and none of them are without issues. What matters most to me is how management handles them.
If you choose to live in a high-rise, occasional elevator delays come with the territory. With this many residents in one building, that’s simply part of the experience.
I wasn’t personally impacted by the flood, but I did see consistent communication from the office about what was being done to resolve it. The situation also prompted me to review my renters insurance to make sure I’m fully covered, and based on what I observed, I feel confident the team would be responsive if I ever needed support.
My breaker has tripped a few times. It was frustrating at first, but maintenance has been extremely responsive and took the time to show me how to handle it going forward.
That level of attentiveness is something I haven’t experienced in other buildings. The team is friendly, proactive, and genuinely committed to addressing concerns.
If you’re looking for a place to live and understand that some things are simply out of anyone’s control, this is worth considering. At the end of the day, what matters most is how situations are handled—and here, they handle them well.

Edit: after more than year in the building, I can no longer give it 5 stars. The electrical installations are poor and breakers trip with simple appliances usage. Maintenance staff says they can do nothing, and come in just to tell we have faulty appliances (they’re not). They also had a massive leak issue that affected tens of apartments, elevators are out all the time, thrash chutes never work. These issues are unacceptable on a building of this price. Won’t be renewing my lease.
This is the best apartment building I’ve ever lived in. The staff is great, there are amazing events and regular classes. The views are unmatched and facilities well taken care of (thrash regularly picked, grills always clean). We’re happy to be here for the next few years
