I’ve lived at Ventana for almost a year now, and overall I’ve been happy with my experience. The apartment itself has been a great place to live, and I’ve enjoyed the amenities and the community. There are a few inconveniences that I think could be improved. The fitness center is nice to have, but it’s not really a full gym—it’s mostly a treadmill and a small selection of weights, so residents looking for a more complete workout space may be disappointed. Another issue is our dryer. This is a minor but frustrating problem: it makes an extremely loud buzzing sound when there are about 15 minutes remaining, again at 10 minutes, 5 minutes, and when the cycle is finished. We’ve brought this up to the office, but were told nothing could be done about it, and we haven’t found a way to disable the alerts ourselves. The dryer does work, but it takes quite a while to fully dry clothes. Despite these issues, I’ve enjoyed living here and have had a positive overall experience. The staff has been friendly, the property is well maintained, and I would recommend Ventana to others looking for an apartment in the area.
