I stayed at Aquatic @ U over the summer months and couldn't have asked for a better experience. From day one, Anna (Leasing Associate & Community Manager) was absolutely outstanding—attentive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure residents feel supported. When I needed to sublet on very short notice, Anna and Jessica from the management team were incredibly understanding and quickly connected me with a tenant who needed a summer subletter. The timing couldn't have been more perfect, and their responsiveness made what could have been a stressful situation completely seamless. What really impressed me was Anna's willingness to go above and beyond, even after I moved out. When there was a complication sorting electricity bills with the next tenant, she stepped in to help facilitate a resolution—well beyond her typical responsibilities. She even reached out when a package was incorrectly delivered to the building after I'd already left, making sure I could retrieve it. That level of care for a former tenant is truly rare and speaks volumes about her character. The building itself is fantastic—centrally located with incredibly easy access to UC Berkeley, yet surprisingly quiet. The amenities are top-notch; I especially loved the rooftop with its incredible views and the well-equipped gym.The ButterflyMX intercom system and LuxerOne package lockers made daily life incredibly convenient and secure. My unit was exactly what you'd expect from a brand-new building: spotless, with new appliances including an in-unit washer and dryer, and plenty of storage. The few neighbors I encountered were friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a student, grad student, or looking for a summer sublet, I highly recommend Aquatic @ U. And if you're lucky enough to work with Anna, you're in excellent hands!

I had an excellent experience staying at Aquatic @ U over the summer while attending Berkeley, and I cannot recommend this property highly enough. The standout aspect of my stay was the management team. Before Anna joined, Kaitlin was an absolute star. There was no on-site manager at my building at the time, yet Kaitlin repeatedly went out of her way to support me. On several occasions, she left her own property and came to my building specifically to wait for my packages so I would not miss important deliveries. This was never something she was required to do, but she did it anyway, and her responsiveness, friendliness, and willingness to help made a real difference to my stay. When Anna joined as Leasing Associate and Community Manager, she continued that same level of care. While she was based in the building, she was just as attentive and proactive. When I was urgently waiting for my driver’s license and other important packages, Anna personally let me know as soon as deliveries arrived, even texting me to make sure I did not miss them. There was no obligation for her to do this, but she consistently went beyond the scope of her role, and that extra effort truly stood out. The property itself is quiet, secure, and very well located in downtown Berkeley. Getting to campus was easy, the bus stop was right outside, and the building was consistently peaceful. I rarely saw my neighbours, there was no noise, and everyone was friendly. The balcony views were lovely, and the community events were a great touch. While downtown Berkeley naturally has activity outside, once inside the building you are completely removed from it, and I always felt comfortable and secure. Although I was a sub-leaser, I was treated like a full tenant in every respect, which speaks volumes about the professionalism and care of the management team. I will be returning to Berkeley next year and would absolutely stay here again. Aquatic @ U made my summer significantly more manageable and enjoyable, and my experience there was genuinely excellent.

Anna is a great agent. She takes time to check up on me and see if I am doing good. She responds very quickly to any questions and is on top of everything! I couldn’t be happier living here knowing Anna is here to take care of any problems I have.

I want to give kudos to the Community Manager Aquatic@ U, Jaienda Kumar. He has been the best manager I’ve experienced since moving into this building. He's always in the office, diligently checks around the premises, and ensures everything is in excellent condition. Whenever he's here, the entire building looks and feels exceptional. I truly appreciate his dedication and hard work.
