Shaw Mountain Apartments

We just moved in yesterday, and this an absolutely beautiful apartment. It is cozy and quaint, cute little squirrels running everywhere, I just love it! The staff is amazing to work with as well, everyone is friendly and polite.

Edit October 2025: I admit, I threw some shade. However, Logan, the maintenance guy AND property management has for sure stepped up! I submitted a maintenance request for out of control weeds and they were cut down within the week. I called the emergency maintenance line for my fridge/freezer going out (on a Friday night) not sure if it qualified as an emergency. Logan answered and was super nice. I called back to let them know it came back on and wld submit another work order. They were at my apartment on a Tuesday and new fridge/freezer installed on Thursday that same week! Also replaced outdated carbon monoxide reader! Kudos! Raising my stars! August 2025 I love the location. Maintenance seems to be better than when I first moved here in 2022. There are some unit design flaws (which has nothing to do with current management). I'm on the ground floor with carpet throughout except kitchen/laundry/bathrooms. Unit above is opposite and I've had problems above me. Only other issue I've had is with the lease and it not being correct. I fully aware signed a contract knowing the wording is incorrect (I still need a place to live and have paid rent on time every time) and I challenged it and spoke with the "Regional Manager" and well, decide for yourselves...I signed a rent concession which clearly states not for any renewals (hey, I'm a renewal-been living here since feb 2022!) *we also got new gas BBQ'S like 2 years ago... are they hooked up yet (honestly not sure, asking for a friend lol) ____________________________________ Changing my review as of 2023. Maintenance requests were addressed in a timely manner since under new management. A/C and Heater functionality not always the best in units, but that's to be expected in older units. Only issue I have now is Maintenance telling me to clean differently because they couldn't properly fix a sink faucet without water leaking. (Side note: I work for a different apartment complex company and this should have been an easy fix). Thank you for the new faucet, but still didn't fix the issue...
