This apartment complex has been great! We’ve lived here for over a year and just extended. The staff are all very friendly and maintenance orders are handle very promptly. The gym and pool are wonderful as well.

Avoid at all costs. I've lived in a few different buildings, and this was the worst by far and many other tenants felt the same. There were a few upsides. The maintenance team was great and really responsive. Also, the rooms are pretty nice and the management team tries to put on community events. My main problem came during the termination of the lease. Up front, I asked them not to renew the lease because I knew I was moving at the end, but they put in a renewal clause anyways and didn't say anything about it. Then, leading up to renewal, they sent misleading messages that made it seem like the lease would automatically terminate without renewal. When I finally notified them 30 days in advance that I was leaving, they told me I had to give 60 days notice, so I ended up getting charged another month of rent. Also for that month they raised my rent by about $800 because I was now month to month. I tried to work with them on this, offering to pay part, or vacate early, and they rejected everything. The best part was on the original end date of our lease, they asked for the keys back even though they were charging us an extra month - I guess they thought we would still leave and they could double rent the apartment? Obviously I told them no and returned the keys at the end of the time we paid for. Other things that weren't great: 1. We booked an extra storage container at the apartment when we first moved in, but they were gross and and had rat traps inside of them, so I cancelled it soon after (they tried to prevent me from cancelling even though they said up front I could cancel at any time). Then they continued to bill me for 6 months, and I had to force them to reimburse me. 2. My hallway smelled like rotting trash the entire year. The management team said the trash chutes were too difficult to clean. I've been in other building with trash chutes and never experienced this. They finally got them professionally cleaned after I was there for 10 months, and it lasted about 2 weeks before it went back to the original smell. 3. Also, on at least 3 occasions, the mailroom smelled so badly of rotting food that the delivery people wouldn't go in there. This was because of some food delivery box, but it would take the building a ridiculously long time to respond to the issue. 4. The air conditioner in the gym was broken for much of the summer so it was basically impossible to be in there. There are so many other buildings in the area that don't appear to have these problems, I would go with one of those.
