If I could put a 0 STAR REVIEW. I would. I was initially intrigued by this complex because it seemed reasonably priced, but I cannot stress enough: do not live here. This place is unsafe, mismanaged, and infested with pests. First, the safety issues are alarming. People scream randomly in the middle of the night, and I have personally had someone pull a gun on me and my friends three separate times while living here. This is not exaggeration. This is reality and it makes living here incredibly unsafe. Management is equally terrible. Maintenance requests take forever if they are addressed at all. I was lucky if a request was handled within the same month. For example, I could not even use the microwave for months because maintenance refused to fix it, and when they finally did something, they gave me a barely functioning leftover unit. The pest problem is unbearable. This place is infested with roaches everywhere: my desk, kitchen, pantry, shower, and bedroom. EVEN INSIDE THE ELECTRICAL SOCKETS, I have tried multiple foggers and even had to temporarily leave due to the toxic chemicals, yet nothing worked. I had to throw away so much food because they find ways to crawl inside any little place. I EVEN HAD TO THROW AWAY MY MATRESS because of this infestation. IVE GOTTEN serious rashes because of this issue. Pest control came three times and did almost nothing beyond spraying the walls once or twice. The infestation remains. I keep the place really clean and they keep coming from inside the walls. I have to get rid of at least 20 roaches every day because they dont stop coming Overall, this complex is unsafe, filthy, and horribly managed. My experience has been a nightmare. Please do not move here. This is not just a bad apartment. This is a serious warning.

This is my first time ever renting an apartment and I wish I would've never moved in here. Not only does our a/c not work, when it rains water comes through the windows and the door. The stove top completely comes off, the microwave door doesn't open all the way and the fridge has rust in it. We have water damage along every wall and the floor is coming up in every room. Our apartment was also broken in to on 06/08/2025 and we haven't even been living here for a full month.

I’ve lived a Landing at McCallum 7740 for about a month now, and I can honestly say that Jessica has made all the difference in my experience here. From day one, they’ve been incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always willing to help. Whether it’s handling maintenance requests quickly, keeping the property in excellent condition, or simply checking in with a friendly attitude, they’ve gone above and beyond what I expected from an apartment manager. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely committed to the well-being of the residents, and I truly appreciate everything they do. Thanks to Jessica, this place feels like home

I've lived here for 3 years until I recently moved out. I only stayed for rental history, always homeless and squatting people who are hard drug users everywhere, loud at night, mold in air vents they won't get professionally cleaned, last couple days of me moving out my apartment got broken in to and destroyed by drug addicts and squatters, management did not care at all, but luckily Dallas police did care and they finally caught them the next day. some maintenance people could be better but overall things eventually get done after contacting corporate, but be prepared to fix things yourself after maintenance "trys", Hardly any parking spots available, and after 3 days of guest parking you pay daily. I don't have roaches after I bought raid traps and put two in each room ** The pictures are of when I moved in on 2022 with different management. **

This is the worst place I have ever lived. Sure, it looks nice and you THINK the price is reasonable, until you're living for a year without air conditioning, your apartment building catches on fire and they have the nerve to raise your rent, and to make it even better have the roof cave in in your shower. While you're in it. They also have a tendency to lose your rental payment. Has happened three times. Only ONE was found. What did they do? Made me pay again with late fees. Also someone around here likes to slash random tires in the parking lot all the time. Do yourself a favor, avoid this place.
