My daughter lived here for over a year. We switched from one Apt to another. I heard from an employee they always charge $200 for cleaning no matter how much you clean. My wife and spend the whole weekend cleaning - it was immaculate ( I have pictures). Besides the illegal $200 charge, they sent me a letter on 12/27 saying they owed me $1143.73. No payment was enclosed. When I called I was told I had to speak to "corporate." No one answered and I was hung up on. I called back. The second person also referred me to "corporate." I refused to be hung up on a second time. Please find another apartment with a different company. They will steal $200 for cleaning and will not refund your deposit when asked respectfully.

This is the second year that are living in The Andy apartments off Patterson and we feel safe and apartment is nice. HOWEVER, We started having issues with management during the spring last year and it was very frustrating. We were never allowed to speak to a manager because they always just told us that they could help us but continuously weren’t able to. Now in the fall, with it being almost December, I have written probably up to seven emails since September and have received zero response. When we went in person, they just told us they didn’t really know what they wanted us to do about the weed smell in our apartment or people banging/ringing our doorbell in the middle of the night. Yes, we get it that those things happen sometimes, but this has been going on for the last year… I understand, that offices can get busy and backed up, but when I have sent email since September and it’s now the end of November, I’m pretty frustrated that I haven’t received one response, but yet still continue to see them send out emails. I would recommend this place to others because they are beautiful and spacious apartments. Yet, The experience that we have had with management, I would never want to put that on anyone. We also have not had a male key since our old roommate dropped it off to the office during the summer and no way to access our mailbox. Also, there’s been charges on our rent that we have never signed up for. Overall, I would give them to out of five stars if that.

I moved here from out of state and this apartment complex is awesome! Within walking distance of most everything. The staff have been so helpful and kind. I stop into the office with my dogs everyday and they always say hello to my dogs and give them treats. When my granddaughter was staying with me the staff were so nice to her and she loved going into the office everyday to get a drink and a snack. I highly recommend The Pearl and the staff are some of the most friendly people who go above and beyond and it’s so refreshing to meet people who actually show care for their residents!! Could see myself staying here for a very long time thanks to the great experience I have had!!!

Living at the Pearl ptla was ok besides the garage door breaking and a homeless person living in the stairwell for a week and using it to defecate. 2 apartments down from us burning down, and moving into a fire hazard apartment from lint not being removed from the prior tenets, or or flooring turning your feet black, and watch out for move out fees take pictures before you move in! We do and proved that prior stains in the carpet, counters etc.. was before us but we still were charged..customer service not very good either unfortunately…

I've had a truly positive experience with PLTA Property Management. Rosa is consistently kind and incredibly helpful, always ready to assist with any needs we have, which makes a huge difference. The maintenance team is also fantastic; requests are handled very quickly, ensuring any issues are resolved promptly. Genesis has given me a few tours, and she is always so welcoming and makes the process enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed my time at the West Gate property, finding it to be an excellent place to live. The Emery property was also a good experience. Overall, PLTA provides excellent service and properties.
